Dejun picks up his bag and walks out, without a word, leaving his company ID on the table. Yangyang doesn’t see him again for two years.
WayV disbands. Yangyang and Dejun drift. Somewhere in between, they share a meal.

And just—Ten needed everything to stop so he tried to be a normal person again. Because being a normal person is so easy for everyone else but he’s cold and wet at one am on a Friday evening with no one to go to for help and crippling loneliness biting at his veins harsher than a chill ever could.
He’s just so fucking bad at living. It’s pathetic.
“You can stay with me for the night. If you’re okay with that,” Hendery offers, cutting through his thoughts gently. Like a hand waving fog away from their view.
Ten blinks, caught off-guard. “Really?”

“You happened,” Hendery frowns. “You're prettier, your smile's shining in a way it wasn't before. What happened to you?”
“I'm just like the way you left me.”
(I.e. between all the things in adult life that are set to come and go, Xiaojun happens to find out that Hendery is the only thing that will always stay.)

Summary
Dejun is like a body of water. Guanheng wishes to dip his feet into him. To turn to him and wash himself clean, to wash his worries away with Dejun's surface. To drown in him. He is like the sun. Guanheng wants to orbit around him. He wants to swim through space and time, to orbit around Dejun restlessly, hopelessly, to follow his curved path to the stars, spinning all the way there like a fool.
Dejun slips into Guanheng's room in the middle of the night to feed on Guanheng, his willing subject, his willing prey, like always. And like a fool, Guanheng lets Dejun in. He lets him have his neck, like always.
