“Whiskey dick of the claws,” Logan repeated back Wade’s own words to him, from the moment they first met, “But hold the whiskey.”
He held his breath for a laugh from Wade that never came.
“I–” Wade pulled back, fingers dropping from Logan’s face and pressing over his knees instead, “So you’re fucking digging them out?”
It was phrased like a question, but Logan knew it was quite obvious
“We have a job.”
What else would Wade have him do without the claws? It wasn’t like Logan was charming enough to–at minimum–be a distraction for whatever bullshit Wade had planned.
(Logan cuts his hands open when his claws won't come out. Wade walks in on it.)

When he knocks at the door, it’s Wade who answers the door, smiling widely, dressed in his smartest graphic tee and jeans, looping his arms around Logan’s neck to kiss him chastely.
“Hey peanut.” He says quietly. “You sure you’re ready?”
And Logan softens, nodding and squeezing Wade’s hip slightly as a smile makes its way onto his face. Wade pulls back, keeping a hand in the small of his back and they walk to the dining table, Vanessa, her fiancé (whatever he’s called), and a smattering of friends already sat, talking animatedly.
