Summary
Loosely inspired by the manga/anime Soul Eater, in that I take the idea of Meisters+Weapons and just have them fighting vaguely Minecraft inspired monsters in a sort of modern world. Also I give the weapons "affinities" which are basically just special superpowers that they can only use when they're resonating with a meister. While these all take place within the same sandbox universe, characters from one fic will not necessarily meet characters from another fic. And I might contradict myself on worldbuilding occasionally.

The Conservation and Upkeep Bastion (CUB, for ease) was created one apocalypse ago to do exactly what was said - conserve and upkeep humanity, whatever the cost. The aforementioned apocalypse had made that significantly difficult, but CUB is patient, resourceful, and very, very well-equipped. His newest plan may be a bit chatty, but he's also a very good chance of giving CUB the biggest breakthrough he's had in decades.
