Summary
Harper peels away from the bookcase he leans against and follows after, slow and steady like a shark through deep water. Medh is waiting for him, trying to peer through the shelves without looking like he’s doing so, nervous but trying not to show it. Whether he’s genuinely afraid of getting caught or just anticipating what happens next, he flushes prettily when Harper rounds the corner and moves toward him, stepping into his space until he bounces clumsily off one of the shelves, pink deepening to red when Harper smirks.

Taliesin comes to terms with his feelings; whether it's already too late is anyone's guess.

He’d tried too, in his haphazard way, to tell Medh that he loved him. Hadn’t managed it, but the attempt left nothing burning in its wake except his ego.
