“It--it was nobody.” Anthony stammered as the Alpha loomed closer to peer at the ugly bruises. “I-- I’m clumsy, it was nothing. No one. No one hit me. It’s alright. I'm fine”
“Tis not alright.” A brush of calloused thumb at the Omega’s jaw, the softest touch he’d had in years, and Anthony was mortified when tears sprang to his eyes. “Does it hurt?”
“I--” Anthony nearly lied, but another feather soft touch at his cheek had him whispering soft, “Yes. Very much so.”
“The nobody that blackened your eye will never do so again, do you understand? They will never touch you again.” Conviction burned bright in Thor’s good eye. “You are safe with me, little runaway.”

He opens his eyes in a completely different world, one with all the things he could never admit he wanted-- acceptance and desire and submission.
In this place on the other side of reality, Tony learns everything begins with falling– falling through space, through time, falling in love, and falling onto his knees.
*****“Holy hell, you’re about the prettiest sub I’ve ever seen.” Bucky whispered and Steve rumbled in agreement. “Just gorgeous, sweet thing. Look how soft you are for Stevie, I love that. Good boy, you’re doing wonderful.”
The praise was balm to Tony’s battered heart, and his last thought before letting go was about heaven, about soft lights and quiet music and strong arms.
Heaven, because his brain could snap into gear later and he could make up for lost time then.
Heaven, because lips brushed over his temple and a deep voice crooned, “You’re such a good sub, sweetheart.” and it was the best thing Tony had ever heard in his life.

Tony knows Cap doesn't like him. It's a pity, cuz the guy's smoking, but contrary to popular belief Tony is actually familiar with concepts like self-control and not-getting-what-you-want.
Johnny Storm's a great option to work up a little sweat at the dull fundraiser Pepper insisted he go to, and it's heaps of fun up until Clint accidentally convinces the she-devil in reporter form that Johnny and Tony are engaged. And because both Tony and Johnny are morons who take 'challenge accepted' as a life philosophy, they go along with it.
It's cool, though. It's funny enough to be entertaining, and Storm's hot enough that it's no hardship carrying on with him. Eventually the media will find another scandal, and in the meantime, Tony's got sex on tap.
Storm's resemblance to Cap is absolutely a non-factor. Has no bearing on anything. Nope.- Language:

You free tonight? I know a great pizza joint and could show you a good time. When was the last time someone took that Iron Booty out for a ride?”
“There’s a sentence I never thought I’d hear.” Tony coughed a few times just so it wasn’t obvious that he was sort of, kind of enjoying the entire exchange. “I’ve got a company party to go to tonight, so the Iron booty is out of commission."
“Not in those pants, it ain’t.” Wade did his best impression of a mask-on leer. “I’ve been known to lurk on rooftops before, I could swoop down and rescue you from the boring party?"
“I--” Tony was ready to politely thank the mercenary for bringing Pete by and then never find himself in Deadpool’s company again. But then… “Why don't you come?”
“Uh.” Wade blinked, then blinked again. “I must have had some crazy in my ear. Did you just ask me to be your plus one?”

His hair was tousled like he’d been fucking , his lips red from kisses and if there was any question as to whether or not it had been HIS booty putting on the lace just a few minutes ago, the query was quickly dispelled when he leaned over to pick up a bag and treated them to the sight of a well rounded butt and the unmistakable pattern of lace beneath the suit pants.
“Did Pepper tell you all about my personality quirks?” He cocked a challenging eyebrow and Steve stammered a mostly professional, “Mr. Stark, I can assure you we are comfortable with any situation that may arise over this coming weekend.”
“Are you now?” Tony bit at his lip and put a hand at his waist, allowed his shirt to slip off one shoulder and bare a strip of lace that matched the one they had glimpsed earlier. “ANYTHING that may arise?”

Clint laughed so hard he was practically screaming, cackling peals of disbelieving laughter over shadowed by Sam guffawing over the thought of Tony dating a nice GIRL, much less a nice girl from church.
“Point of order!” Natasha had to raise her voice to be heard. “Tony is practically snack sized. Anyone could get him walking with a waddle. Hell I’ve got a sparkly pink strap on that would get the job done. Let’s not assume he went ass to hammer with Thor just cos he’s walking funny.”
Three sets of horrified eyes met hers and Natasha sighed. “He’s standing right behind me, isn’t he?”
