Dear Journal,
It's now day 2690, or two-thousand, six-hundred ninety. Today was restock day, I spent most of the time cleaning the cafeterias for potential customers. As per usual, nobody came. There was one thing I did see, though, which was quite odd. Some sort of device, moving about high in the air. When I looked up at it, it paused and stared at me for a few moments, before flying away to where I could no longer see it. I have many questions, but this pencil is wearing out. I'll have to find another one somewhere.Lampert finds a customer (?) in his infinite home. Shenanigans ensue.

Lampert goes on a late-night elevator ride, winds up on "Infected's" floor, and promptly catches wind of Kasper borderline screaming in his sleep. He discovers that his friend was never dead, just deeply buried. What also becomes apparent is that Kasper has complete mental clarity for all of twenty minutes each time he wakes up. Lampert can’t bear to leave him again. They are horribly in love with each other.

There's a spill on the floor.
Some elevator resident caused it, brought something wet and sticky and germ filled and spilled it all over the nice carpet in one of the ROKEA displays. Someone else walked in it while it was still wet and now there's dirty footprints tracked from the spill to the next two displays, probably beyond that...
Lampert sighs, adjusting his r95 respirator and rubber gloves. He got to his knees, assessed the damage, and got to work. Grabbing a sponge from his mop bucket and dunking it in the lukewarm soapy water he had filled it within prior, he began scrubbing the carpet.
