Summary

“I don't understand.” Lance shot him a confused expression. “You could easily overpower me in this sorry state I'm in. How is it you just don't force the things I medically need on me?”
“You didn't fully agree.” He helped the wolf drink about half the glass.
“But I didn't answer you after I flinched...” Before Lance replied, the rest of the glass was finished off. "How would you know what I wanted?"
“No answer is still an answer, Wolfie.” He stood up and pushed the glass and pitcher closer to the bed, in case it was needed while he was gone. “If you don't feel confident enough to say yes, then it means no.” He went out to the hallway and turned to look back to the bed. “Consent isn't just about sex, you know, and you have a right to be in charge of your body.” The wolf fixed him with an expression of befuddlement, as if he couldn't believe a human was saying something so selfless.
