Summary
Sometimes, Hakuryuu wondered if what he witnessed back in that palace had all been an awful dream. Perhaps the corpses of his brothers had been a cruel trick of the mind, and words Hakuyuu whispered to him all a misunderstanding.
His finger traced the lines of his scar, feeling how his healthy skin met with scarred tissue, memorizing it. If he continued to say that he hadn’t been able to see with this eye, would everything go back to normal? Would he forget? Would everything make sense again?
How long could he truly go on like this?
::
Or, Hakuryuu lies until he can’t lie anymore.
