And she expects no different from the French ambassador who’s shown up at her door looking for what is owed to him. All he wants is a doll to play with, and that’s what she’ll be for him. Even if the lemon cakes that she’s always wanted start showing up fresh on her doorstep, or the ballet slippers she’s worn holes into are now suddenly replaced with a new pair from an elite store. She won’t delude herself into thinking she’s anything more than just a ballerina.

JJ blinked. “Will—”

The constant craving for quiet had been drowned out by the sounds of her soft sighs as his body pressed against her, by the consuming sensation of her around him and on top of him and in the beating heart in his chest.
And slowly, an idea formed. He couldn't have Emily anymore. But he could find something close enough. Some approximation to act as a temporary sigil to ward off the ghosts at his door.
It had worked before and it could work again.

This is mostly a slow burn romance fic for the pairing JJ/Derek Morgan. The story follows the show's main events (almost) episode by episode, starting off from season 2, filling gaps at the beginning and later deviating from canon more seriously. This fic belongs in the same universe than my other work "Jerek one-shots", so if you're only interested in Jerek/Jorgan smut and fluff I suggest you give that a chance ;).
WARNING: Will is emotionally and sexually abusive in this fic so be prepared for violence and heavy angst. Any chapter wich may include any kind of violence will have a specific trigger warning at the beginning. The chapters including smut scenes will also be marked.

“Hi,” Reid replies, “practice going okay?” Hotch nods and, from this close up, Reid can see the smudge of mud on the rise of his cheek. If anybody asks, he had completely forgotten about the woman standing with them when he licks the pad of his own thumb before leaning over to wipe the mud from Hotch’s face. Reid doesn't accept Prentiss's death and resolves to find her on his own. His motivations are complicated by the manhunt for Ian Doyle, his own doubts about his future at the BAU, and his unresolved feelings for Emily.
This story focuses on the period between Prentiss's 'death' in season 6 through to the season 7 opener. So, it goes without saying that there are spoilers in here for seasons 6 & 7.
This should be considered an alternate universe fic although it mirrors many incidents from the canon. Warnings apply to the whole story - I won't warn for individual chapters.
