Buck is tired. He must've fallen back asleep after dropping Chris at school, waiting for Eddie to wake up so they could head to the station a little early. Everything was normal - fine, even!
So when he wakes up on his best friend's couch, with a throbbing pain in his chest and Eddie crying in the kitchen, it's obvious something is wrong.
But what?
*a S06E10 "In A Flash" alternate universe where Buck's coma dream is replaced by the fact that he has a weird corporeal ghost form and, for some reason, can't go anywhere without Eddie.

Summary
Clark Kent is aware of the fragility of humans and the nature of his distinctly inhuman strength. He knows, from years of careful practise and fighting hair-trigger reactions, that he is different than the rest of the world—that he isn’t normal, as much as he pretends to be; but his parents, Ma and Pa… are. They get hurt, and sick, and tired after a long day in a way basking in some sunlight can’t fix. They’re human.
And humans die.
Or, Clark is confronted with the fact that his parents are getting older, and eventually, somewhere all too soon down the line, he may outlive everyone he’s ever loved.

“Are you happy with yourself?” Nat asked. “You’ve made him into a circus attraction.”
“Kinda,” Rooster laughed, crossing his arms. “It's his fault for falling asleep out here. Hey, who's got a sharpie?”
“Okay–” Nat huffed, setting her hands on her hips.
“I'm kidding, I'm kidding!”
“Floyd!” she said, her voice loud and assertive, and Bob jerked awake immediately, knocking his book off of his lap.
“Huh?” he breathed, lifting his head off of the back of the armchair. Fanboy snatched Bob's wallet back from Harvard, tucking it under his leg hastily. Halo took a step back from where she was leaned over peering at his book, but she knocked her shin into the coffee table and swore. Rooster clasped his hands behind his back and tucked the twenties into his pocket, making his best attempt at a poker face, but he knew he was failing miserably. And Hangman, thank fuck, finally muted his stupid phone and looked up in earnest.
“That woke him up,” Payback said under his breath
“That'd wake any of us up,” Fanboy replied, nervously glancing at Nat. “Was she a drill sergeant in a past life?”
