Seonghwa’s eyes widened a fraction. “You're still fighting me,” he observed, wonder in his tone. “Remarkable.” He leaned in slightly, a teasing flicker in his eyes, almost as if he was playing. Playing with his prey. “But not enough.”
With another subtle push of power, the compulsion deepened, and Mingi’s body stilled completely, though his mind continued to race. Seonghwa’s gaze dropped to the scarf around Mingi’s neck, curiosity glimmering in his gaze. “Why are you hiding, little one?” he asked, his voice soft but cutting. “Take that off.”
There’s something inside Mingi that's waiting to be set free.

Mingi’s eyes widened, his mouth fell open and his eyebrows arched before the same confused, “Huh?” He let out when Seonghwa first approached him found its way out of his lips, “Excuse me, what?” He added and rushed to stuff his mouth with chips once again, “Am I already wrecked to the point of hearing things?”
Seonghwa snorted, leaving the chips to the younger and leaning to snatch a Pepero from the small pack Hongjoong was holding, “Come to my gym and I’ll turn you into a pro boxer, I’ll give you all the fame and the money you deserve, you’ll climb the ranks.” He promised, Pepero between his lips, “And you know who stands above those ranks?”
“The Captain.” Mingi whispered, eyes fixed on Hongjoong who was placidly listening to the conversation.

Somehow Miles had turned into a full fledge vampire under his very nose. Miguel doubted the kid had taken to feeding, though, so he must be starving. It would explain why his vampiric instincts were going haywire. Miles couldn't see the Spiders as allies; he only saw them as enemies. He must be protecting his friends. Even when starving, the kid thought of others before himself. What will Miguel do with him?

Summary

Summary
He didn’t ask for this, he never wanted this. To be stuck with an un-beating heart and a cold body, to remain unchanged while everything crumbles around him.
But most importantly he didn’t ask to fall in love with them. Not while they had had more time, not while he was only there because he was an unfortunate accident. Something they felt responsible for because the true perpetrator up and left thinking Jake was only a meal.
It’s not like they asked him to stay either, explaining on the first day they they were only there to show him the ropes or the places to stay far away from. He was just a charity case. A poor sucker who got dragged into this world unexpectedly.The only hope he has left is that he will be able to walk out of the apartment door and not feel like he left a part of himself behind.

He'd take the wrath of Batman over live vivisection via beloved parents or being studied and torn apart by the government. Besides, he's not a meta. Being dead is a medical condition.

Summary
Tim Drake never actually wanted to become part of the Robin-Batman-vigilante outfit. No, really. But the last Robin up and died, and now Batman is going crazy, and no one else is doing anything about it, so...Tim decides to become Robin. He might as well, right? At the very least it'll give him something to do while his parents are gone.
Still, Tim's not taking up the mantle until he can put a couple of things in order. Step one? Making sure the Joker can't get it into his head to kill another Robin. Not ever again. (Good thing Tim's not the one with a 'no killing' rule.)
And then after that? Well, after that it's only just a matter of keeping Batman from learning Tim's identity and subsequently chasing him off. Not until Bruce can get back on his feet and pick a new Robin, a real one this time. Easy-peasy.
