Summary
Wynonna hasn’t stepped in Purgatory for years. She ran away when she was seventeen to protect her sister, only to start a life of crime and isolation.
Now, at age twenty-seven, she’s an agent for the FBI and is tasked with a case that hits close to home. After numerous girls are murdered, Wynonna, her partner Dolls, and their nerdy sidekick Jeremy go to Purgatory to catch this sick killer. Not many of the townies are happy to see the much older delinquent return, but there are a few surprises in the mix. And there is even an ambitious redhead cop that seems to actually want to help the FBI and solve this dangerous case (and get to know Wynonna’s sister).
All of this leads Wynonna to wonder if everyone wasn’t actually better off without her like she had thought.

Startling Wynonna, intriguing Nicole, and confusing everyone else, she sends the residents into a whirlwind of changes (that might include love).
