Summary
Kanade has an inkling she'll probably die young like her mother, but she doesn’t mind. She just needs enough time to fulfill her cursed promise with Mafuyu and compose that song that is capable of saving her. Unfortunately, fate decided it would be hilarious to inflict her with the Hanahaki Disease, leaving her on the verge of death much earlier than even she anticipated. Of course, she hid the fact from everyone and chose to face death all alone.
“Liar.”
A few months later, with a comatose Kanade destined to never wake up, Mafuyu is left to pick up the broken pieces. With Ena and Mizuki, they follow her supposed savior's trail to solve the mystery behind her inevitable demise and hopefully find a way to salvage her life... even if they have to fall down the rabbit hole.
“... Didn't you promise? You’re a cruel girl, Kanade."

Mafuyu grunted out, banging her palm against her stop-watch. This needed to work, and NOW. Everytime, seeing Kanade.. Putting the pieces back together, Mafuyu clicked the button.

Sent through another nauseating experience, she woke up in her ruffled bed of her home. August 1st, again. The walls were painted an empty, pale-ish yellow color. The air was cold, as always in the Asahina household.
Already been through this morning more than 35 times, she got up to look at the mirror.
“Woke up exactly at 6 AM, on this Monday,” Mafuyu mumbled to herself, and then grabbed her hairbrush.
“Let's try a different approach, this time.”
