So yeah. That’s one of about a million reasons why it couldn’t be Hardison. Moreau at least was a stone-cold killer; it would be the death knell if he let the nerd in the van be the one to fuck him. And he is starting to lose the illusion that if they got their pants off he’d want Hardison to do anything but fuck him, pin him down under those gangly limbs and fucking give it to him. He’s been thinking about it in the shower lately more than he wants to. It makes it kind of hard to be around Hardison, and Hardison is not good at picking up on stay-out-of-my-airspace signals, Hardison gets right up close, Hardison talks and talks and talks while Eliot is trying to concentrate. Hardison hugs. It’s annoying. Eliot keeps having to specify that Hardison should keep his long legs and broad shoulders and eminently grabbable ass over there, on the other side of the van. The whole thing’s giving Eliot a goddamn headache.
Some part of Eliot really likes that about the guy, that Hardison’s so up in his own head that he doesn’t bother to notice that Eliot’s a terrifying person. The part of Eliot that’s into that should probably be taken out and shot for poor basic judgment.

He looks mostly the same, just...smaller and more dimply and cuter, if that's possible. His clothes have shrunk to fit him, so he's casually sitting in a t-shirt, jeans, and scuffed tennis shoes. He swings his feet from side-to-side over the edge of Baby's seat the same way Sam used to in the back, and he stares up at Dean with clear eyes.
"Oh," Dean blurts out, eyes bulging, "Cas is going to fucking kill me."

Dean blinks and swallows the food in his mouth, staring at Cas curiously. "I would think...you were either on drugs or going insane, why?"
"I'm not inebriated, nor mentally unstable."
"I—I…" Dean takes in a deep breath, then blows it out heavily. "Cas, you're not fucking with me, are you?"
"I'm not," Cas tells him.
"Okay," he says, "fuck it, let's get hitched."
"Thank you," Cas murmurs sincerely, then picks his fork back up and goes right back to eating.

Not having a bile sac is perfectly normal and plenty of witches got by without it, right? It totally doesn’t affect his heart or anything else too. He just can’t do magic without his staff. Never mind the fact that the rest of Hunter’s family had really short lifespans. That’s gotta be unrelated.
Alright. So maybe Hunter isn’t as fine as he says he is, but it’s not something he’s unaccustomed to. Besides, that’s what’s so useful about his staff! With that, he can use magic, and if he’s tired, he can fly, instead of walking or, titan forbids, running. So it isn’t an issue.
a.k.a. Not having a bile sac to perform magic with affects Hunter more than he'd like to admit.

It starts one day when Tim is walking down an institute hallway and passes Elias Bouchard, who is about four inches shorter than usual. Tim’s reaction is rather delayed; at first, he only has a general sense of unease, a feeling that something’s not quite right—but he can’t put his finger on it. Then he looks back and makes eye contact with Bouchard, and realizes with a jolt (first of surprise, then of delight) that he’s looking down.
It starts properly the next week, when Jon comes in wearing boots that are far different from his normal work shoes.
“Are those heeled boots?” gapes Tim.
“Shut up, Tim,” Jon grumbles. “I figure if Elias gets to just make himself taller, I deserve at least an extra half inch.” -
