Summary
Jason is seventeen and standing in a warehouse in London, surrounded by the corpses of ten Russian mobsters. The last one just gave him a lead to what the Joker's been up to. So, he has a clown to kill.
Jason is twenty-three and he has Joker venom in his system to counterbalance the fear-adrenaline feedback loop Bruce installed in his brain. He's been a little… displaced, but it works out, because he's unstable, upset, and he needs someone to blame.

"So we're out of Narcan." They hadn't had Narcan, when Willis had… left. "The landlord's turned off the utilities and he's kicking us out in five days if we don't catch up on the last three months of rent."
"Okay," Willis said. He knew how he was supposed to follow that up. Thank you for telling me. I'm here now, I'll take care of everything. I'm sorry. Instead, what came out of his mouth was, "What happened to your face?"
OR: Knowing it wasn't enough had never stopped Willis Todd from trying.

Summary
It’s all Tim’s fault, like most things are. That’s what Jason tells himself as he stares at the clock on his desk, reminding him of a deadline he’s not sure he’ll meet. If he can just crank out these last few paragraphs and ignore the way his head throbs, the way his ribs ache… Well. Then there will be another deadline tomorrow, and another next week. It does not fucking end.
He sighs and drains the last of his coffee. Eight hundred more words to go.
(Jason goes to school. Everyone finds out, despite his best efforts.)

Dick swallowed, making an aborted gesture over at him. "So what are you a ghostbuster or something?"
"Oh my god," Jason groaned to himself, instantly turning and walking over to the hole leading out, preparing his grapple so he could leave. He did not have time for this.

He turned back to his food for a moment before the thought suddenly occurred to him that the Cave had gone near silent. He cautiously glanced back at the others. Alfred was still working away at stitching Tim up. Tim looked a little pale and sweaty, but he was glancing over at Jason with a look that was a mixture of concern and confusion. Bruce was standing stock-still, seemingly staring off into space.
