When König had introduced himself, the only thing his brain could think about was how tall the man was and how he’d had the obscene thought of wanting to climb him like a tree. He reminds himself that when it comes to anyone he works with, everything needed to stay professional.
Unfortunately, just like with gambling, he was dogshit at staying professional.

Soap almost drops his gun. But he’s well-fucking trained and even in the face of immense panic, he keeps his head on straight, and manages to say, “You feel like doing that again but truthfully this time?”
The Captain frowns and looks back at his teammates for help. Neither of them say a word. “We’re not lying.”
“I know you are.”
“And how’s that?”
Unsure of what else to do, Soap emerges from behind his cover, his shoulder barely past the edge in case he has to dive back. “Sergeant Mactavish, at your service. Didn’t know we had copycats.”

König and Horangi are not facing each other. They’re at the bar section of the restaurant, though it’s early enough that no one else is there.
Both of them are maskless. It is a dangerous game, one that has taken them a long time to work up to. They don’t look at each other, carefully and deliberately.
“How do you take spice?” he asks König, and he’s sure the other can hear his amusement.
König is slow when he answers, “Not well.” He knows how to use chopsticks—incorrectly, but Horangi won’t say anything about it—but he is careful and deliberate in his movements. “But I’m . . . willing . . . ”

Horangi and König have an agreement: they each try to push each other to new experiences, new highs. They try to help each other through trauma, bonding along the way. This is just a glimpse into that world.

In a random act of kindness, Woods decided to buy Mason a camera, an action he knew he appreciated by the number of times he'd be outside snapping random photos of whatever he came across. But, each time when he wasn't looking, Mason would take a few quick photos of him. It was a small gesture, but he hated seeing the result of him looking like an unphotogenic mannequin.
It wasn't until he decided to take him around town, the sudden click of the camera filled his ears each time he turned his back toward him.
or
Mason gets a camera and fuels Woods' unphotogenic taste by taking secret pictures of him anyway.

He’d thought he was tough shit as a teenager. For the most part, really, he guessed he was. He packed quite the punch, and was nifty with his hands. Stealing was second nature to him, especially after flunking all his cash out on booze and poker chips. He terrified the locals simply with his presence in the shadows of the bars he frequented. Adored their fear. But all it took to bring him down was one, single man, unafraid, and quite literally disgusted by him. A man, and his mess of a gang, of course.
OR
I take fanon ideas for Horangi (The idea he has 'tiger stripes', scarring) and give him a backstory based on artworks I've seen. A very, very violent backstory. Complete with König giving Horangi some well deserved comfort years later.
