When he finally returns to Mondstadt, Diluc opts to wear long sleeves, wearing gloves, and hide anything that could lead to others knowing about his scars. He doesn't care for other people's opinions, he just wants to avoid the questions. Where did you get this scar? Wow, did it hurt? How many scars do you have? How should he answer these questions? Does he tell them the lies he's told himself many times: it's the hilichurls, the mitacurls, the slimes, the Fatui, anything and everything that attacks and kills? Does he tell them the truth— that he's been slowly and surely killing himself each time a scar appears?Or, Diluc has been given an ability to overcome any adversary faced and he hates it.

On most occasions that Kaeya would throw an insult at Diluc, he’d ignore it. Pretend he didn’t hear it or at least give Kaeya a harsh glare, just to make sure Kaeya got the idea to back off. But tonight, it was different. Diluc had been stressed all day, he was overworked, tired, and at the end of his rope.
So when Kaeya opened his mouth and commented on Diluc and his “brotherly love for Kaeya”.
Diluc snapped.

Summary
“Diluc…” Kaeya starts. And oh, Diluc can’t suppress the shiver that runs down his spine at the sound of his name on Kaeya’s lips. “I think I know what’s happening. Sorry I didn’t mention this before…but I was hoping that I was wrong.”
Diluc’s muscles are getting weaker and he’s unable to stop himself from leaning against Kaeya’s hand gripping his shoulder.
“You know that flower we came across earlier?” Kaeya continues in a low tone. “Its pollen is used in the black market as an," he coughs. “An aphrodisiac.”
Diluc stares up at him in shock, mouth agape. His vision is blurry at the edges but he can still see Kaeya’s sharp blue eyes through the haze. “An…aphrodisiac,” he says in outright horror.

The aftermath of a bloody battle leaves Diluc and Kaeya covered in filth, so they decide to take turns bathing in a stream. Unfortunately for Diluc, they are not told about a certain species of flower that happens to be growing in the cave and he is hit in the face with aphrodisiac pollen. Strictly for the sake of returning to Mondstadt quickly, Kaeya helps out (and definitely doesn't take advantage of the situation).

Between managing the winery, working at the Angel’s Share, and protecting the streets of Mondstadt at night, Kaeya was not sure if Diluc ever slept, or if he was just living on spite and grape juice alone. Occasionally, he can’t help but take it upon himself to make sure his brother gets a goddamn nap.
AKA, Five times Kaeya made Diluc get some sleep (and one time Diluc returned the favor).
