It wasn’t an ill-made prediction, Persephone was stood at the bottom of the steps glaring at the crowd with her hands on her hips. Nico winced in momentary sympathy for the rabble; he’d been on the end of her wrath before.
“Hm,” Hades hummed in agreement “Have you been watching the soul?”
Nico followed his father’s line of sight to where a half-transparent man in a long light brown trench coat sat on the floor, cross-legged, looking far too pleased with himself. He was turning his head back and forth between the two loudest arguers of the crowd, stifling laughter behind his fist.

There was a bit of confusion in Gotham City as of late. Several of the locals have been filing reports of seeing what appeared to be a flying bronze reptile with what looked like two teenagers upon its back.
This recent development has thrown the infamous Batman for a loop. For the life of him, he couldn’t find any trace of the flying object, only having the local’s word to go by. Somehow they had successfully avoided being caught in any of the cameras around the city, even though the people who had managed to see it said that the object was bigger than even your average car.
Batman sighed before running a hand through his tangled locks for the umpteenth time. He had been working on trying to figure this out for several hours and glanced at the clock’s glaring red numbers to see that it was already four in the morning. Glaring at the clock with the slightest bit of betrayal, he got up to go change into something other than his Batman suit. Bruce Wayne went to bed in a feeble attempt to get some shut-eye, resolving to ask Tim to help him look more into it tomorrow.
--In other words: Leo shows up in Gotham and causes some chaos for Batman and the boys.

He couldn’t tell where the shadows started and the being ended, poised carefully in the alleyway. Maybe it was his imagination, but he thought that their grip loosened slightly at his confession.
"Gotham." They said quietly. Their voice was rough and rumbly, but steady, oddly calming. "You are in Gotham, New Jersey."

Or, Jason Grace doesn't die, but his memories do. With the divine equivalent of throwing a dart at a map with your eyes closed, the gods drop him in New Jersey in some random universe. Lucky him, because there's a recently free position at the worst city on Earth, that may or may not entail dressing up in traffic light colored spandex and busting the brains out of a really weird clown.
