Norton Campbell is (trying to be) a normal teenager. He's doing well in his classes, he's eager to learn (most of the time), he has some acquaintances, he's even in multiple clubs. Unfortunately, that doesn't stop him from attracting the weirdest people to him. Which also includes Orpheus, who somehow ended up becoming his closest friend.
A friend is fine. A friend is acceptable. If only it stayed that way.
It's alright. If he ignores his feelings, maybe they will go away.

“You should be more careful with this,” Akira murmured, tapping the sharp tip of the mask with one finger. It matched his gloves perfectly. “You’ll take someone’s eye out.”
The tip of Akechi’s boot pressed into Akira’s as he shifted, raising himself to his full height, shoulder tassel brushing against Akira’s jacket. Red eyes lingered on the mask now spinning slowly between Akira’s hands.
“Only to those careless enough to get too close.”
“Well.” Akira nudged Akechi’s shoulder, meeting the eyes that flitted up. “Good thing I’m known for being reckless.”
Slender fingers brushed against his own, easing the mask out of Akira’s grip. Akechi hummed, a wonderfully rich noise rumbling in his chest. “Then I suppose you only have yourself to blame if you get hurt.”
Akira was fine. Their plan had worked. No repercussions. Now all that was left was to take down the bastard who had put him in that room to be drugged and beaten in the first place. Nothing they hadn't done before. Easy. Right?

Dejectedly, Maruki responds, “I care about Akechi too. He has so much pain in his heart, so much grief and anger, it’s so horrible everything he’s gone through. He deserves to have a good life. But Akira… is it fair that he hurts you because of it?”
What?
That might as well have been a death sentence.

And with his voice gone, he could only dread what would go next, what he would be too cowardly to hold on for, next. And the months passed like that, while everything slipped away from him, and it seemed as though he was the only one holding on for any of them. Parents, friends, his school...
Until, on his first day at Shujin Academy, he accidentally wandered into a red subway. And there, he saw that someone had gone back to that courtroom to retrieve his voice. That someone was gorgeous. That someone wielded a brilliant blue light.
That someone brought splashes of color back to Akira’s cheeks.

“I suppose I can escort you there,” they say, closer than they’d ever been before, the sound of their voice right against his ear involuntarily sending a shiver up his spine. “Given your status as an esteemed guest and all.”
Akira scowls. Instinctively drawn to resist, he begins the motion to wrangle his arm free from them, but finds himself freezing as he finally looks at the stranger’s face.
His face.
Because despite the fact that his hair is now shock white and his eyes are glowing a pale yellow, there is no world where Akira Kurusu would not immediately recognize Goro Akechi.

The Phantom Thieves know Akechi Goro’s plan to assassinate Akira and plan to kill the rest of them later, but have no idea how to stop him. So, instead, they decide to take their lives into their own hands instead of letting Akechi get to them first.
And Hoo boy does Akechi pay for it.
Or; Akechi slowly goes mad over Akira’s death and becomes very unlikable as a human being.

And sure as shit, Goro fucking Akechi was walking towards the school, trailing just a step behind Sae Niijima. Funnily enough, Akira wouldn’t have believed that it was Akechi, if not for the eye contact he was holding with him; the very intense eye contact with him. Akira couldn’t help but wink at him. What! It would be fine, Akira was the only one who remembered the events that were to play out in a few months, and surely Akechi would just think of him as another one of his fans. But that oh-so familiar flash of searing anger tore its way across Akechi's face, the flash that he'd never been able to hide, the flash that made itself known every time Akira decided to be dumb, or reckless, or just outright self-sacrificial.

Summary
Anathematized after a poor interaction with time-traveling aliens, Lance finds he has the ability to rewind time. Despite its limitations, Lance uses the power to the team’s advantage, both in war and to mess with his friends.
Then he realizes he can confess his feelings to Keith with impunity.
There’s only one problem: the parting words of the aliens who cursed him. His death is prophesied, and not even they know the details of his future. So Lance decides to make the best of what little time he has left.
If that means he spends every waking moment showing Keith his love, before reverting time over and over again so Keith won’t remember it, then so be it. Even if that means he’ll die without Keith knowing how he feels.
Except, there’s one contingency Lance didn’t consider…
