Summary
Shin Hyeok-u used to dream of a superhero coming to save him, back when he was just a scared little boy sitting in a dark closet, back when he didn’t know boys aren’t supposed to be saved, that they’re supposed to be strong, maybe even do the saving.
Shin Hyeok-u is weak. He doesn’t save people. He wants to be saved. He wants to feel strong. He wants someone to hold him. He wants to cut everyone down.

Hyeok-u still hurt and recovering from the whole ordeal of seeing his father literally murder a man in his home and then barely escaping from him, is now seeing things that he's pretty sure aren't normal. And why do they keep happening whenever Mun is around?
or
Me giving Hyeok-u a happier ending.

Summary
Mun closed the book he just finished reading. The quote clearly stuck inside his mind as it drifted to that one specific person.
Who would've thought that nowadays he'd think about that one person who used to make his and his friends' school life a living hell. Who would've thought he would find Hyeok at the back of the school building almost every single day, crying- sitting on those cold stairs.

Summary
A blind man and a mute man meet in a church. Somehow, they make the friendship work.
Jason's ultimatum ends in the way he least expected it: with a batarang to the neck courtesy of Batman, and his murderer laughing as he bled out. Even though he survived, the damage was done. Mute, he decided to take his leave and wound up in Hell's Kitchen, New York.
Enter Matt Murdock; blind lawyer by day and the vigilante known as Daredevil by night. Some would say his desire to help others would be what would get him killed one day, and his track record did back up that sentiment. However, that doesn't stop him from befriending a broken but kindred spirit.

Summary
“I still have your clothes.”
Newt peeks out at Thomas from underneath his sleeve, eyes slitted under the light. “Bloody hell, is this what we’re thinking about right now?”
Thomas laughs, a reserved sort of exhalation, as he turns to look at him. Newt brings his arm back to his side; an invitation.
Then, “I still have yours, too.”

Summary
Newt’s suicide attempt from Newt’s perspective. Begins with the lead up to his attempt, shows how his mental health progressively deteriorates and both how Newt reacts and how his friends react to it. Then goes into detail about his attempt ||TW|| and how others react. And then finishes with his recovery and lots of hurt/comfort between Newt and the other characters.
Sorry I’m not the best at summaries, but I hope you enjoy!
*side note* I already published this previously on ao3 a couple months ago, but I had a bit of a moment and ended up deleting my account and all my works… so if it looks familiar, maybe just blindside it and perhaps leave some kudos if it wasn’t too much trouble, purely to save my dignity !! Anyway thank you, enjoy!!

Summary
aka: All the ways Newt could have Lived
Major TDC spoilers. Newtmas vibes at the very least throughout. Movie-verse only. Disconnected fix-it fics.
Altered scenes are in Chronological order with the film's timeline but can be read in any order you like or independently. (At least, that's the plan)
Will also stick as much as possible to canon with the exception of Newt's survival.

Summary
Seungmin knew he wasn’t special.
He tried countless times to gain his members' attention and affection, however, each attempt only ended in failure. Seungmin might’ve been the second youngest member in his group but he never felt like it; compared to their maknae, Seungmin felt like nothing but a second thought.
Living unnoticed became Seungmin’s second nature— However, the longer his insecurities piled up, the further he found himself spiraling towards his breaking point, his insecurities overtaking his life and dragging his members down alongside him.
Maybe Seungmin didn’t deserve to be loved. And if no one truly loved him maybe Seungmin needed to work for it. Maybe Seungmin needed to change himself. Maybe Seungmin lost sight of who mattered most.
Maybe Seungmin lost himself in the process.
