The East Blue was a destination no one would have expected them to choose. It was also the only place they could go to in order to be safe. The flimsy piece of paper leading Wani flickered in their palm, tugging onward, forward. As if trying to confirm the choice was the right one.
Blue would help. Blue had to help. Wani had to trust the bonds they had forged together in their youth had not sundered throughout the years, even if Wani had not been able to be there for either Blue or Red when Roger died. Even if Whitebeard had denied them any help he could have offered, chained Wani in the brig to make sure they would not go seeking Blue or Red out.
Wani had to hope Blue would believe them they had at least tried.

When the Roger pirates make it to Raftel and finally conquer all of the Grandline, Roger is crowned The King of the Pirates.
On Raftel Crocus discovers a new type of plant which cures Roger's incurable disease so The king of the pirates never was never executed. He still kick starts the great pirate era by challenging every pirate to try and take his title and the one piece for themselves.
A year and 3 months later The king of the pirates has lost his lover, Portgas D Rouge, a lively and strong woman who had been pregnant with their child that Roger never got to see born. But their son had not died like his mother had, she had died during birth but their child had been born healthy and named, Ace.
On another island in the east blues cries a child, a child with only bandits, then an acquaintance his age, a crybaby younger than him, then his brothers
Or things still somewhat go the same from the start other than Roger dying and the ASL brothers meeting each other eariler than in the actual canon and Roger looking for the past ten years for his son that was taken by Garp to dawn and never told.
