Summary
Instead of finding the remnants of the 501st at the Umbaran airbase and being forced to deal with Krell's execution, Obi-Wan and the 212th found nothing except bodies - and no General Krell. Now, on the verge of being pulled off of Umbara despite Anakin's fervent protests that the 501st is out there, the 212th finds an injured clone trooper in the woods who might be able to point them towards what happened to the 501st - but the realization of what happened might be worse than any of them could have imagined.

Summary
Ever since he was a cadet, Dogma knew that the rules and regulations were safe. They didn’t change at their core, like so many other things did, and when he was deployed, adhering to the rules also made him a skilled and trusted member of the Republic Army.
On the other hand, his brothers would call him too much of a buzzkill, too frustrating to be around for long, and overall not very interesting underneath the surface of citing quotes from reg manuals.
He could see their point with that, yes. But he couldn’t help but say something. What else was he supposed to do when he could also see the consequences every time his brothers didn’t follow the rules?
What was he supposed to do then?

Summary
Umbara goes a lot better, but nothing's perfect and Dogma has become alienated from his siblings. In the weeks that follow, he is isolated and falls victim to a predator.
I have no idea where I'm going with this and if you have something you want to have happen, leave it in the comments and it might. I just started writing Dogma being sad and alone, then IT GOT OUT OF HAND. There will be a second chapter once I figure out what should go in one because I don't wanna leave it like this.

“Do you not trust my judgement?”
Gale frowns, but of course, it doesn’t last long, in her presence. He’s being foolish. He doesn’t even know why the whole thing makes him feel sick, and until the emotion can be intellectualised, it's easiest to just ignore it.
“…I do, of course, my goddess.”
A Gale character study, but also, through Gale’s eyes, an Astarion character study.

Summary
Ripped from the climax of their fight with Cazador Szarr by a wayward spell, Gale and his companions must determine where (and when) they find themselves. The fate of Faerûn relies on their abilities to outwit and outmatch some of their greatest foes yet: a half-elf who won't stop touching Wyll's horns, a drunk and disorderly archmage, and a familiar high-elf magistrate with his own designs for our heroes. Finding their way home without destroying history itself means they must face the horrors of the past and, even worse, confront their hopes for their future.
Or:
A brief history of Astarion and his uncanny ability to vex Gale in any timeline.

They say your soulmate will save your life. Astarion wanted that. He wanted it badly enough to make a deal to try and find it, but the trouble with deals is that you've got to hold up your end of the bargain. How was he supposed to know a deal he made before he was turned could come back to haunt him now? He's already got more than enough on his plate without adding curses to it too.

Summary
Five years is a long time for a human. An eighth of Gale Dekarios’ entire existence, yet still not long enough to forget that which he desperately wishes he could. The weight of time serves only to chain him to that moment, restored and unmade simultaneously.
Five years is the blink of an eye for an elf, and hardly even that for a vampiric one. Still, Astarion Ancunin wants nothing more than to go back and play that moment in time on repeat, until he's memorized every detail. Maybe if he could, he'd finally be able to put two centuries of torment to rest.
They must decide what they're willing to do to escape their respective prisons and come to terms with what they've already done. When two sides of the same coin are melted through and forced to intermingle, they will be forced to open their eyes. Is it worth it?

Summary
Gale shouldn’t be entirely startled to find a vampire standing in the middle of his foyer, wet clothes dripping on the carpet and hands cupped around something small and equally soaked through.
He shouldn’t be, and yet…
“I found her in a crate,” Astarion says, shifting his grip to reveal a tiny slip of a kitten, sodden and shivering. His expression is bemused as he looks down at the little creature.
For all Astarion’s readiness to stab those deserving and undeserving alike, cruelty to animals bewilders him. Something Gale finds endlessly charming, not that he would ever say as much.
~~~
Gale likes Astarion. Astarion likes cats. Gale might have made a slight miscalculation somewhere.
Summary
Gale leaves everything he's known to move to a new town, Reithwin. He's struggling to pick up the pieces of his career after an accident leaves him disabled with an unpredictable and weak heart. He is to be the new librarian to this small towns only museum.
Astarion steps into the subway car as the man takes a seat and shoves his phone back in his pocket, he sits across from him.
“New in town?” He says eyeing the man's expensive looking brooch. He recognized it as part of a vintage collection, likely no less than 50 years old. He could probably pawn it off for quite the price.
“Hm? Oh, yes. It’s actually my first night.” The man holds his head up in false confidence. “It's a lovely town.”
“If your definition of lovely is old and breaking down.” He smiles as he looks him over. The man laughs.
“That's actually more accurate than you might think.”Bookmarked by godspine
Summary
The vampire's eyes are wide and round, full of amazement. They dart wildly around the sights below, as if trying to see everything at once. The lights of the city reflect upon his face, soft shadows dancing across his elegant features. The very tips of his fangs are visible from his parted lips.
The radiance of the city pales in comparison.
✧・゚: *✧・゚:* ✧・゚: *✧
Two months after the brain falls, Baldur's Gate has picked up most of the pieces. The heroes that saved Faerûn have been there through most of it, helping the city get back on its feet. But now it's time to move on. Old lives and families to return to. Gale is going back to his tower in Waterdeep, back to the quiet, back to being alone; or at least, that was the plan. But plans change.
This is a story about falling in love.
Summary
"The way the body reacts after birth is unavoidable. All his siblings experienced it: searching for a baby that was no longer there, raging and screaming at everyone and everything in the vicinity as if the child was hidden like a sick parlour game. They all knew what would happen after the first time, but every subsequent time might as well have been the first.
What would’ve happened if one of those children had survived?"
Or: what if the spawn having spawn was a requirement for the Black Mass? What if the mindflayers captured Astarion with one of those children in tow?
Summary
A series of shorter, light hearted fics intended to glimpse at the downtime between the companions as they seem to gravitate to each other and couple up from Gale's view, feeling as though as Wyll and Karlach grow close, and Lae’zel and Shadowheart, he and Astarion are left together with no one but each other for company.
Summary
To Gale, flipping through his sketchbook is like strolling down a well-trodden path through the luscious woods of his mind, basking in the warm light of his favorite people, places and comforts. It's one of the reasons he keeps the book near his chest, literally and metaphorically close to his heart.
And thus, having Astarion peruse his art is terrifying, indeed.
“Gods, you draw everyone so happy." There is, for once, no bite in it. It's almost gentle.
“I…” Gale fidgets with the pencil still in his hand. “I draw what makes myself happy.”
Astarion runs his finger along the outer edge of the drawing of himself and Scratch strangely reverently.
“Sentimental,” Astarion chides, harmlessly. “How very you.”
In which Gale catalogues the entire journey since the crash of the Nautoloid in a sketchbook he hasn't drawn in since his exile and Astarion has enough confidence in his art for the both of them.
Summary
"Astarion woke to hunger, no beating heart whatsoever, a blessed solitude to his mind and – more startling than the above- to something warm on his skin. It was kind of familiar but the memory was so old he didn’t dare touch it.
Nothing good came from touching memories gone stale. Nothing.
He opened his eyes and was assaulted by light. So much light. "Astarion is confronted with the struggles of his new-found freedom and is doing what he can to keep it. Meanwhile, Gale is trying to understand his new traveling companions, Shadowheart just wants some peace and quiet, Wyll is a bit too much of a hero and Karlach is the only one sensible. While Lae'zel is there too. Sometimes.
