Summary
After an unfortunate encounter with a sorcerer seeking vengeance, King Arthur is turned into a bear, leaving Merlin to deal with a new threat to the kingdom without knowing what happened to his king, his Arthur.
As he searches for his missing king, Merlin soon finds a new travel companion in a friendly bear.
-or-
Merlin accidentally reveals *everything* to Arthur without realizing it's Arthur. -

Summary
“Merlin, do you know this fiend? Has he threatened you into allowing him to take your appearance somehow?!”
“Yes, I do know him, but he hasn’t stolen my appearance or anything of the like. It is, technically, his face too.”
Arthur’s brows furrowed with confusion. What was Merlin going on about now?
“This really wasn’t the introduction I would have liked, but I guess it’s too late for that now. Everyone, I’d like you all to meet my twin brother, Emrys.”
~
After a ritual gone wrong, Merlin's soul is split into two different bodies: one with magic and one without. And because destiny apparently had it out for him, the knights catch both of them in the same place. Without any better explanation, Merlin blurts out the only believable lie that he can think of: that the two identical Merlins are twin brothers. -

Summary
“Well,” Arthur starts in his snippiest tone, and Merlin’s stomach sinks into the ground at it. He's aware that Arthur blames him, and he can’t even really blame him for that, because the whole thing kind of was his fault. “Well. Are you happy with yourself, Merlin? Are you pleased with your brilliant plan? Your oh-so-excellent plan, which has left us stranded in the middle of the woods with no food, no horses, no knights, and no hope of getting to Caerleon in time."
“You didn’t think it was such a terrible plan when it saved your life!” Merlin yells back.
~~
A skirmish with a pack of unhappy sorcerers leaves Merlin and Arthur stranded with no resources in the middle of the snow. A simple task of walking to Caerleon becomes just a little more difficult when ancient magic ignites itself, leading to banter, longing and even a water fight.

Summary
The first snow comes early, forcing Arthur, Merlin, and the entourage to take a shortcut through a pass between the White mountains, as to reach Camelot before all the paths are blocked.
The valley they find on the way is ruled by the Lord of the Hunt, with whom they must take shelter for the winter. In the end, they will have to brave more than one mountain if they want to make it to the other side alive and together.

Summary
It's the night before the final battle and Arslan can see the future he wants for Pars very clearly. One lifetime is not enough to achieve it, but he's determined to point the country in the right direction.
And Daryun can only follow, breathless.

Summary
Kishward, Daryun, Kubard and Saam were there, fighting with all they had, and they were all laughed off as nothing, weak mortals meddling in matters they did not understand. And the cold realization sent shivers down their spines, the realization that there were beings to which all of their bravery, all of their carefully crafted skills meant absolutely nothing.
On that night, in that corridor, four of the strongest men in the entire country stood against a single enemy and couldn’t land a single hit.
And on that night, in that corridor, there was also prince Arslan, fourteen year old boy, who somehow could.

Summary
A flash of terribly familiar golden light filled the clearing, a deafening boom sent the knights flying backwards, and then, at last, a pair of blue eyes opened once more.
And they were met in return with the sight of shimmering gold eyes.
As it dawned on everyone what exactly had just happened, Arthur’s battle-proven instincts kicked in and overtook his petrified mind once more, playing out his body’s natural response to any worst-case scenario:
Grab Merlin and run.
~
Alternatively: After a ritual goes disastrously wrong, Merlin's magic has been transferred to Arthur, who is still unaware that Merlin has magic in the first place. Believing himself to be a danger to everyone around him, Arthur sets out to live the rest of his life in self-imposed exile.
Suffice it to say, Merlin has some objections to Arthur's plans.- Language:

Summary
The wind changed.
There was something unright about the black wolf. Golden-eyed, whip-thin. Too long of snout and limb. Among the trees, he might have been a shadow thrown by a wholly different creature–or, from the angle of the light, by Arthur himself.
Arthur had never seen him; Arthur knew him. It couldn't be, and wouldn't be beneath the sun. But it was Wolf Moon now, and Arthur's pack was somewhere in the woods, going on without him, while Arthur stood frozen as a deer, naked paws on the leaf litter, naked fur beneath the white moon, too exposed away from the safety of the brush–because he was a fool who charged in, because he was the apex predator in these woods, until he wasn't.
As prince of the Camelot wolf pack, Arthur has fought his entire life to be worthy of his title and his father's pride. When he meets a strange wolf with a too-familiar scent on the first full moon of the new year, he must decide what's really worth fighting for.

Summary
Camelot has been without a Court Sorcerer throughout all the long years since Merlin, known to some as Emrys, known to all as Prince Consort, went missing on what should have been a routine pilgrimage to the Crystal Caves. Since that day, sorcerers throughout the land have poured into Camelot seeking his place at King Arthur's side, only to be turned away--until today.
If they can pass a test to prove themselves as worthy as the greatest sorcerer ever to live.
