Summary
What bound the crows together? Was it greed, or desperation? No, in fact, it was much simpler than that. It was a leisure centre, grimy and rusty and falling apart, with broken gym equipment and an old café. It was a swimming pool, with a looming diving board that needed repairs months ago, with plasters at the bottom of a dirty pool, with lane ropes that caused cuts and bruises if you swam too quickly.
AKA the swimming AU, with swim teacher Jesper, competitive swimmer Wylan, lifeguard Matthias, aqua-aerobics/zumba/dance instructor Nina, diver Inej, and Kaz who's kind of there.

“George?” it was Lucy, gazing curiously at him with a little smile. He smiled back without really thinking about it. He loved seeing Lucy like this, calm and happy. She was beautiful, the soft light from outside casting a spotlight on her as if nobody else in the world mattered. In a way, that was true; Lockwood and Lucy were the two most important people to George, and he hoped it stayed that way.

Summary
After Jan Van Eck gets sentenced to serve time in Hellgate, Wylan joins a new foster family- the Faheys. This follows Wylan as he learns he can be loved and accepted for who he is, makes friends with his new foster siblings and navigates the publich school system.
or: Colm fosters all of the crows and Wylan joins them and learns what it means to be loved.

Nina rolled her eyes to the heavens as she accepted her fate. They’d be spending a week counseling grimey little kids, totting them around, helping them make beaded bracelets, and singing to them around a campfire. And while they were at it, they’d have to teach those kids about Jesus. Nina thought that if anyone survived the weeks, without being excommunicated or causing a child to lose a finger or two, they’d sure as hell have a story to tell.

After Kaz's biggest scheme lands them all in court, he and his gang are given two options. One, become a Vacation Bible School mentor for two weeks at a stowaway camp in the rural Tennessee forest. Or two, face jail time. Court mandated community service never sounded so miserable.

If someone says high school’s not a monarchy, they’re a big fat liar. At least one person dominates the locker-filled halls and fluorescent-lit classrooms, and we all know it’s Wylan Van Eck. Wylan Top of his class, President of the Student Activities Committee, reigning Spring Fling King, and the son of the city’s merchant council head Van Eck. His popularity is something nobody dares come close to. Nobody except for the infamous Jesper Fahey. Band drummer, drinker, smoker, non-achiever. He is the stereotype for the people you don’t want to associate yourself with, but he’s still a favorite among a crowd. And people will say it’s because he’s fun and loud, but they know damn well his womanizing and man-eating nature is what makes him well-known. So well-known he’s despised by the king himself. It’s his punk and his pride that collides with Wylan’s “prim and proper ideals”. Some say hatred is all there is to their vendetta, but gossip whispers their tension sometimes wander inside closets in parties and stay there longer than the seven minutes they’re allowed in heaven. And gossip is what makes the world go round.

“Kaz. What the hell is this?” Nina is the first to speak after the last half hour of the road trip being dead silent due to a rather passionate bickering between Jesper and Kaz. Five hours in an enclosed space did not agree with Jesper’s impressive amount of energy for a six-am departure, and a swift kick to the back of Kaz’s seat put the entire car in a time-out.
“It’s the cabin.” Kaz says plainly. He hears the crunch of gravel as Wylan walks around the car to open the trunk. “Is it behind the haunted abandoned shack or...” Jesper adds. Kaz glares at him. Still grumpy from the seat kick, then.
