The more days that rolled by on the whirlwind of a vacation that was supposed to be more play and less work, though... the more he found himself trying to place his faith in one, even amongst his own self-doubts and constant (what he thought were irrational) fears.

Zenkichi thought he was (mostly) done with all the metaverse weirdness with the end of the Jails. A random barfight unfortunately shows that not to be the case. And the only one he can got to for answers is a kid who's been through more than enough as is.

He squinted at her on his phone for a moment, exhausted from finishing Akane’s jail the day before and driving most of the morning, “What? How?”
She smiled, or grinned, really, “I have figured out time travel!”
He froze, blinked, then took off his glasses and rubbed his eyes. He was just tired, right? “Could you repeat that for me?”

Summary
When Ren finds out he isn’t able to take Morgana with him and the Sakuras on their vacation to his hometown, Ryuji offers to watch Morgana and take care of Leblanc in his absence. Though concerned about their ability to get along, Ren agrees, under one condition: he has to take a picture of himself and Morgana every day to make sure they’re still alive.
What happens over the ensuing four days sees Ryuji and Morgana becoming closer than either of them could have imagined.
