Sanji turned, trying to meet Usopp’s eye. Trying, because all that he could focus on were the scars peeking through the bandages on Usopp’s neck. All he could focus on was how Usopp wasn’t just leaning all his weight on Sanji like usual. Wasn’t annoyingly digging his chin into Sanji’s shoulder to give his unnecessary and unhelpful opinions.
How he was keeping his distance.
“Wanna trade?” Sanji asked. “I do your wounds, you do mine?”
Sanji and Usopp redress each other's wounds.

Nami—who knows very well what Zoro looks like when he’s trying to get a rise out of someone, who knows very well that she has a claim on Luffy that only a handful of other people in the world share, one that can never be broken or stolen or changed—feels herself bristle, too.

“I stupidly turned down Usopp three days ago, not fucking yesterday!” Sanji screams.-
