Summary
There were two distinct periods of Mimiko and Nanako’s lives: Before Geto-sama, and after Geto-sama.
That night also split Geto-sama’s life into a clear before and after, though his before was a full life of its own. On occasion, he let fragments of it slip, and Mimiko and Nanako noticed and held tight to each one.

“Mmrgh,” replies Wanda. Reluctantly, she opens her mouth and lets the poor thing thud to the ground between her feet.

Summary
Kochou Shinobu has begun her self-poisoning endeavor. She's eager and ready to undergo any side effects of those crucial first doses, the pain means nothing to her if it means she can avenge her sister. What she wishes she could had gone without, though, is fainting in front of all the other Pillars.
Since she's always taking care of them, her well-meaning peers each come to try to return the favor, and no matter how uncomfortable some of them find it they are determined to bear it. Shinobu must bear their efforts too. While each Pillar gets a little time in the spotlight responding to her sudden illness, Shinobu grows increasingly concerned that someone may try to stop her.

Aspiring Demon Slayer Giyu Tomioka is on a quest to prove himself, and he doesn't think it matters too much what happens to him in the process. When he winds up in the hospital again, however, he discovers there is someone who does. Giyu & Shinobu's relationship through the years.
This story focuses on how their relationship developed over time and how deeply and genuinely they care about each other so how you want to qualify that (platonic or romantic) is up to you! My intention was friendship, but the final chapter could lean a little more romantic than the others if you wanted to see it that way(?)
*Rated for some heavier themes (i.e. grief, emotional trauma, & survivor guilt), mentions of (non-depicted) past deaths, and depiction of injuries as well as some discussion of demon slaying violence related to those injuries. Ch. 3 has some action sequences and mild, non-gory/non-graphic depictions of demon slaying. All chapters contain SPOILERS for and through Ch. 131 of the manga. Ch. 3 & Ch. 4 contain vague spoilers from and through Ch. 163 of the manga and some related foreshadowing. Please see notes for more information.

Dr. Somers simply smiled, always quick to forgive, quick to trust. A pang of anxiety bloomed in her chest and she averted her gaze back to the water. Mary got closer, moving a pair of beer bottles out of the way, close enough now she could lay her head on Reid’s shoulder. An act that almost made her tense up but realizing that they were both alone she instantly relaxed, reciprocating with a loose arm around Somer’s shoulder.
“I asked how ye felt about Olympus, yer time here, I dinnae ken if I ever asked you before.” Mary repeats.
