Summary
My boyfriend is... not a nice guy, per say.
While he's always been kind to me, a doting alpha that keeps me satisfied and taken care of, I know his line of work is... unsavory. The first few times he came home covered with blood, I was worried sick, hands exploratory, trying to rip the fabric off and find the wound to treat it. But, the closer I got, breathing in the coppery tang mixed with his scent, I realized it wasn't his blood.
It's never his blood.

Summary
Spiders are both overlooked and feared. They spin their webs, catch their kills and move on. Some hunt, finding their prey and stalking until the kill.
Tommy’s not a Huntsman Spider anymore, though. He made sure of that when the skies bled black with smoke and the horizon was stained with orange and red.
From a class of twenty-eight to a class of one.
Or, Tommy has escaped the Red Room, only to stumble into the lives of a family of Villains, who want him to join their ranks, a corrupt businessman and his makeshift family and a bunch of Heroes, who swear they want to help him.
Now with a Sequel: Come in from the Cold, Huntsman.

Summary
Tommy was handed a small flyer in printed in black and white, with the words “POETRY NIGHT - OPEN MIC” splayed across the front in bubbled font. He fumbled with his binder as he took it, eyes wide as he said, “are you sure? I mean, I love poetry and all, but I don’t think-I’m not sure—what if I can’t write poetry?”
Mr. Sam’s dark eyes softened, and he reached out to place a hand on Tommy’s shoulder, squeezing it gently. “Everyone has to start somewhere; every poet, from me to Rudy Francisco, started off without knowing a clue about what we were doing. Tommy, it’s not about if you can or cannot write poetry, it’s about if you want to.”
