Summary
It was fitting, really, for Bokuto Koutaro to be known as a star.
He was one of those people that seemed to steal all the air in a room simply by stepping into it, after all. A boy with a presence so imposing it made people unconsciously turn their heads his way, and once they did, it became near impossible for them to tear their eyes away. There was a certain magnetism to him that seemed to rival that of the Sun’s, and something as simple as standing near him could make you feel on top of the world.
And yet, underneath all that, he was still just a boy.

Summary
“The elevator isn’t working,” he says, and he knows he should’ve said something else (I missed you, I didn’t expect you to be awake, I love you, I need you), but sleep deprivation has turned his brain into mush and being pressed like this against Osamu’s body isn’t helping either.
Suna wants to kiss him until he can no longer breathe, wants to press him into their bed until he can no longer form a coherent sentence. All he manages to do is stand there though, looking at Osamu, half-hard and unkissed, too exhausted to do anything at all.

Summary
“What are you doing here?” Kiyoomi asked in what Atsumu assumed was his puppy voice.
“It’s a puppy café,” Atsumu explained, startling Kiyoomi who looked at him as if he had just realized there was another human being there. His cheeks turned red. “Every pup here’s up for adoption except for that one actually, that’s my boy.” He smiled, leaning over the counter to look at Satsu who was now showing the new customer his belly.
“Oh,” Kiyoomi said, clearing his throat. “Nice.” His hair was still dripping onto his face.

Summary
“Sometimes, giving up control in a simulated situation, in a game, for example, can help us slowly start to get familiar with that feeling in real life,” his therapist told him. “It can help us get used to relying on other people, it can show us that letting go a bit isn’t always a recipe for failure.”
In hindsight, guided masturbation probably wasn’t what his therapist had in mind. But oh boy, did it work wonders.

Summary
He turns around to grab a bottle of Tequila from the kitchen counter and then takes a long swig, hating the way the alcohol burns his throat on the way down. “Fuck, okay,” he says, wincing and putting the bottle back down.
Yaku’s looking at him as if he has grown an extra eye. “I’m not dragging your drunk ass home tonight,” he says.
“Yeah yeah,” Tetsuro waves him off, as he makes his way towards the balcony. “Wish me luck Yakkun!” he yells while pushing his way through sweaty, dancing bodies.

Asahi tied the laces into a bow and kept running his fingers all over Takanobu’s back with featherlight touches. “Hey Nobu?” Asahi whispered, pressing open-mouthed kisses to Takanobu’s bare shoulder. “Why don’t you open your eyes? Take a look at yourself… god, you’re just so beautiful,” his voice was laced with something Takanobu had long ago gotten acquainted with, lust.

“I can drive us there tonight, we can pick up a bottle of wine and a bouquet of flowers for your mom on our way there… I’ll hold your hand as you knock on the door, and then we’ll spend the weekend pretending to be in love,” Atsumu added.
Kiyoomi then looked at him in the eye. “And if I fall for you?” he joked.
Atsumu ignored the weird flip his stomach did, Kiyoomi had the weirdest sense of humor. “Just try not to, I’ve been told I’m pretty hard to forget.”

If the kiss lasted for a bit longer Atsumu might’ve been able to taste the alcohol straight from Kiyoomi’s mouth, instead, he pushes him away softly and somehow manages to make himself laugh dryly. “You’re drunk,” he says and god, he hates how shaky his voice sounds.
Or: Atsumu panics after a drunken kiss.

Summary
Miya Atsumu had been Kiyoomi’s housemate for a little over four months now. He was also a fucking menace. A 183 centimeter, crop top wearer, shirtless cook level menace. Kiyoomi was so down bad for him it literally made him stupid but, to give himself credit, it was kind of difficult not to like Miya Atsumu when he walked around looking like that.
Oh my god they were roommates...

Summary
“I’ve been going out with Kiyoomi since I was eighteen,” Atsumu started narrating as a picture of them from when they were eighteen appeared on screen; they were in their high school volleyball uniforms standing side to side, their cheeks were really red and Atsumu’s hair was a mess. Kiyoomi’s mom had forced them to take that picture on the last day of training camp, nobody knew that they had kissed for the first time right before taking it.

“How are ya feelin’?” he asked because Kiyoomi’s health came first.
“I'm… panicking and nervous but also happy and, god, you look really good today… like you always look good but you look really good today,” Kiyoomi said, all in one breath.
He then proceeded to hit his head against the door.
This… this wasn’t a normal Tuesday at all.

“‘Samu?” he murmured.
“Hmm?”
“C’mon I’ll race you to your house,” Rintaro said before sprinting without waiting for Osamu to answer.
“Fucker!” he heard Osamu yell in the distance and Rintaro felt his chest bubbling with laughter, he was starting to see the appeal rain had.
Alternatively: Osamu loves the rain, Rintaro doesn't get it until one day he does.

“Suna Rintaro, fuck, you’re so fucking pretty. How are you even real?” Atsumu was full-on laughing now, and Sakusa was recording everything — that little shit.
Rintaro stayed frozen in place because what the fuck?
“Uh–” he started saying
“No no no no no, listen Rin. You are the most beautiful man I’ve ever seen, have you seen yourself?” Rintaro was overheating at this point, his face was redder than it had ever been. He snuck a glance at Atsumu, trying to ask for help, but Atsumu just ignored him and kept laughing at his brother.
Or: drunk words are sober thoughts.
