Scar gave Grian a wink before turning to the customer on the other side of the bar. He managed to sneak a glance at Grian one more time before diverting his attention fully, and was rewarded by the sight of him taking a drink of his water with a face as red as his dress.

“Grian,” Scar started slowly, looking up at the avian with a small, polite smile, as if they were just exchanging greetings in passing and as if Grian wasn’t sitting in his lap. “What a surprise. Unfortunately, this isn’t the best time - as much as I enjoy your…visits, I have work to do. Don't you have a better way to spend your time? Or is this part of Mother Spore’s plan - to keep me from my mayoral duties?”
Grian hummed, shifting position and smirking as Scar’s breath hitched ever so slightly at the friction the action granted him. This was one of his favorite positions for that very reason - here, sat so prettily in Scar’s lap, it was so easy to get the other riled up. So easy to just grind down on his boyfriend’s already half-hard cock and watch his pupils slowly dilate until his eyes were more black than green.
“Who’s to say?” He responded coyly. “Sure - maybe she wants to gain the upper hand, maybe she wants to distract you from your work - or maybe she just wants.”

The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”

Grian… supposes that makes sense, considering how little he knows about vex magic. He just doesn't understand why anyone in their right mind would want to be cold all the time. He also realizes the flaw in considering ‘Scar’ and ‘in his right mind’ would ever belong in the same sentence.
