Summary
With the first five-year mission ending in less than six months, Captain Kirk and Spock are sent by Starfleet to attend a First Contact Symposium on a newly admitted Federation planet. They don’t expect the hotel to lose their reservation, nor do they expect to be rebooked at a rather intimate hotel with only one available room.
Navigating a romantic, lagoon-themed hotel suite with only one bed, Kirk does his best to hide how badly he’s pining over his first officer and focus on the symposium. However, when Kirk learns Spock is considering returning to Vulcan at the end of the mission, he must decide if it’s worth risking their friendship for something more.

Spock was in his quarters double checking a report when he heard the door slide open and Kirk’s even footsteps enter the main room. He set the PADD aside and stood so he could greet his partner with an ozh’esta.
“I had not expected you tonight,” he said honestly, knowing Kirk had planned to have dinner with McCoy in the doctor’s personal quarters and that those kinds of invitations usually ended quite late if the doctor brought out his personal stash of bourbon.
Kirk pressed his first two fingers to Spock’s to return the ozh’esta and Spock thought not for the first time that his partner, his soon-to-be-bondmate, was beautiful. “You sure know how to make a guy feel welcome,” Kirk said teasingly.
Or: Kirk and Spock reconnect in Spock's quarters after several weeks without being able to play chess, let alone share a bed.

“Avatar Aang,” Zuko said formally, his voice carrying over the crowd. “We are honored to host you, Master Katara, your son Bumi, and Warrior Sokka in our home as we celebrate twenty years of peace.”
Sokka tuned out the rest of Zuko’s welcome speech, instead cataloging the changes he noticed in his friend after not having seen him in over a year. He and Zuko had exchanged letters as often as they could but as he watched the Fire Lord speak now, he noticed a tremor in his hands that he hid behind the podium and deep circles under his eyes that had been artfully concealed with makeup, Sokka wondered how much about his life Zuko had kept to himself over the years.
Or: After twenty years of peace, Sokka has accepted the position of Southern Water Tribe Ambassador in the Fire Nation, Zuko has recently adopted a child, and everyone is trying to figure out their place in an ever changing world.

Summary
The Enterprise is almost a year into their Five Year Mission. Jim and Spock are a command team that is admired and well respected by the crew. Behind closed doors, they've become the closest of friends. When the Enterprise is charged with transporting Vulcan Ambassadors to New Vulcan, the opportunity to spend time planet-side is presented and Spock invites Jim to his father's house during shore leave. Excited and hopeful that this is the chance to talk with Spock about moving their relationship forward, Jim accepts. In the meantime, several members of the crew have taken the offered opportunity for shore leave and several ranking officers have accepted the New VSA's invitation to help with their database rebuilding efforts.

Written for this (paraphrased) prompt on the kink meme:
Rose wakes up and she has to explain what she did to Finn before she passed out (because Finn doesn't even know what the word for kissing is) and she tells him it's something you do to show you care deeply about someone. Rose is from a planet where closed mouth kisses really ARE the norm for good friends and the result is Finn going around the rebel base letting his new friends know how much he cares about them... and then someone tells Poe what's going on.
Poe wants to make sure he's the only one getting tongue.

Poe has fallen for Finn but think’s he’s too old for him and that Finn loves Rey, so he’s trying so hard to just be a good friend.
Everyone around them can see how much Poe’s fallen for Finn. Some might feel sorry for him because they also think the same as he does.
And Finn’s struggling to work out how exactly to tell Poe how much he feels for him, worrying that maybe Poe doesn't feel the same at all as Poe seems to be trying to distance himself when Finn tries to drop hints etc.
