Namor shifted his gaze to M’baku and gave him a tight smile that didn’t reach his eyes.
“I’ll take my leave of you then. I’m sure you have much to discuss with the Black Panther’s return.” And with that he simply flew up and over the balcony towards the river.
There, it was done. She saw him and he saw her. Now she can move on and ignore him.

She allows herself to be buried in earth — supine, arms crossed — like her ancestors before her. A shaman holds a bowl to her lips; she drinks again of the new heart-shaped herb, born of a flower from the sea. Lord M’Baku of the Jabari observes the proceedings in watchful silence; an honored guest.
Shuri holds her breath and closes her eyes. Sand falls soft on her face.
Her rage is spent. Her heart beats a tattoo in her chest in both fear and hope.

Summary
Namor knew how to meld colors together to immortalize beauty and history. He knew how to breathe life onto inanimate objects and make them evoke emotions. What he did not know was how to stop falling for someone who will be worlds away in one month. He is no longer just falling for Shuri however, he has crash landed and burned.
But perhaps they can burn together.

During a cultural and academic exchange program in Wakanda, Namor represents Talokan as her greatest artist. There, he meets Shuri, a brilliant scientist who ushered Wakanda into into a technological golden age. The two are tangled in one another's orbit, and they have to figure out their feelings before Namor goes back home.

Summary
They both knew that it was likely that Namor would outlive Shuri. What he was not prepared for was Death arriving earlier than either of them expected.
Perhaps he must face the inevitable truth: that he could never have accepted her death anyway, whether it would come tomorrow or in a thousand years. Namor just thought he would have more time to figure out how to immortalize her.
Namor never truly accepted the possibility of being without her. He will not.
He knew about stones that can control time and space, or wizards that were killed a million times but never died.
The King of Talokan was not about to lose his Queen like this. He will tear through the earth to find an answer, or burn it all in the process.
