God, Dabi still feels like shit about it, though.
If it was just him, just his own misery, he could probably handle it. But Tomura- Shigaraki is definitely not happy about this turn of events either. He's kind of shit at hiding his feelings, noticeably upset and reacting poorly everytime Dabi shuts down his attempts to get him alone so they can talk. Dabi has to look away from him every time, because his eyes get so confused, so disappointed, and it makes his chest ache.
Whatever. He'll get over it. They both will.

Pulling his legs to his chest, Tim slammed his fist onto the keyboard angrily, stifling a sob as tears flooded his eyes. Why wasn’t this working? Why was nothing working today? Tim gasped for air as he hugged his legs, trying earnestly not to break down and cry. He wasn’t a kid, for fuck’s sake. He was a Drake at that. Drakes didn’t cry.
“Baby Bird?”
In his emotional turmoil, Tim had somehow not heard Jason ride into the Cave on his bike. Useless. Why couldn’t he do better? He was supposed to be Robin!
For a second, he tried to tell Jason to go away. To leave him alone just like everybody else had in his life. Instead of that, a loud sob escaped his treacherous mouth. Not even his mouth liked him…

Dean ruts restlessly against the firmness of Cas’s warm thigh between his legs, alternating between slowly rocking or grinding in tiny circles. He feels like a furnace, body hot all over.
The ex-angel feels nearly sadistic as he continues casually reading aloud with a pleased smile to himself. He can tell what the sound of his voice is doing to the hunter.
(TLDR: Sequel to Safe-Word! This time: slowly—too slowly for Dean's liking—getting back into the swing of things after what happened last time. Some hurt/comfort at the beginning and middle, but they obviously...work it out...by the end. Lol.)

Bruce had stopped barely one full step past the doorway, but he was moving now, each step bringing him closer to Clark. With no outside sound to filter through, and with his eyes tightly closed, Clark's whole world finally narrowed entirely to Bruce. His surefooted steps. His steady breathing. The beautiful thrum of his heartsong, perfectly unique to him, perfectly composed and in control. The sound of ruffling fabric as he unbuttoned the cuffs of his sleeves and rolled them up.
The feel of his callous-rough fingertips, gently reaching out to trace a path along Clark’s jawline.
Clark shuddered at the touch, at the trail of fire left behind where Bruce’s fingers had slid across his skin. He wanted to lean into it desperately. He didn't.
“I’m sorry,” he whispered instead. His chest ached.
Bruce pressed his palm flat against Clark’s cheek. “I know,” he said. And then, “Red lights on.”
