“Yeah,” Suguru breathed. “Way too beautiful.”
“You think I’m beautiful?” they teased. As Satoru’s smile grew, fangs on display and six eyes bright, Suguru’s eyes widened in what might have been fear.
“Uh, I mean…” he trailed off, floundering. Satoru leaned forward even more, planting their webbed hands on the deck and raising halfway out of the water. “Of course you are,” he assents.
