Summary
Mike watches the rise and fall of Will’s back, and an idea trickles in through the window, raindrops against the glass—both comforting and impossible to ignore. He could wrap his arm around Will and pull him into his chest. He could align their breathing because his own words from moments ago are already haunting him: Maybe we want different things.
Maybe Mike is right. Maybe he wants to live in Los Angeles and make music and perform in front of audiences; maybe Will is okay with a quiet life on the farm, where he can ride horses and paint on top of the grassy hill.
And well damn, Mike about needs to hop out of bed right this instant and get his guitar because if someone hasn’t written a song about the way he’s feeling right now, someone needs to.

And I never really felt that way with Lonnie, so it’s not like—” Will huffs, redirects. “I never liked being babied, but I like… being your baby.” Mike gives a small smile of encouragement, scoots closer on the couch, brushes Will’s hair out of his eyes where it’s getting too long. “I guess when I’m—really out of my head, with you taking care of me? I feel so—um, small. And cared for. Like—”
Like a kid with their dad. Jesus fucking Christ.
Maybe Mike’s face does something weird with the way all the blood is rushing to his dick, because Will goes flushed and mortified again and says, “But I know it’s totally weird and you’re just being nice—”
“Will,” Mike says. “It’s really fucking hot.”
Or, Will calls Mike "daddy" when he's deep in subspace, and Mike has made it his personal mission to draw it out of him again.

The scene in front of him almost felt like it was playing in slow motion. Mike couldn’t look away. A man had just saved them from three Demogorgon. A trickle of blood fell from the man’s left nostril, which caused him to lift his hand, using the back of it to clean it off. Those eyes. . . there was something about those eyes that drew Mike in, causing his heart and breath to pick up. But all at once, he felt like all the air had escaped his lungs. The Upside Down didn't feel as dark when the man’s eyes met his. Those eyes were pinning him in his spot. Mike was. . . mesmerized, in a trance. Summary
Richie Tozier moves to NYC to go to university along with The Loser's Club and The Hawkins Party. The Loser's all pitch in to buy a run down house that Ben intends to fix up and repair so that one day they can sell it for more than they paid. The house isn't the only thing that needs internal repairs though; Richie also needs to work on himself. Hiding in the closet hasn't done him justice and he has to face the things that truly scare him if he wants to move forward and find happiness. He isn't alone though Will Byers is doing his best to help him through these struggles, and also to add to those confusing feelings.

Now, someone walked into the room. A boy, awkwardly standing at the side of his bed, looking over him worriedly. His hair was brown and scruffy, and he had big baby doe eyes and a yellow-and-blue horizontally-striped shirt like a cartoon character. The window was lighting him up like he was important to Mike’s narrative. The curtains are blue, thought Mike, this boy is light. I love metaphors. Maybe he was high on the pain meds. Upon seeing him, Mike felt a great affection, a great peace. Plus, he had long eyelashes. Mike almost giggled to himself. He was definitely a little high.
“Hi.” breathed Mike.
“Hi.” he said, hesitating.
“We’re friends?” Mike asked hopefully.
