The devil's eye, roughly the size of a grapefruit, rolls on the ground until stopping by his shoe, a red iris staring at him.
It gets stomped on by someone else, making a squishing sound that causes the hunter to stick out his tongue. Yucky. Over the bloody mess, sneakers. Dirty and worn out, the red fabric ripped on the side. Hirofumi follows its owner's legs, finding a lanky teenage boy with an eye patch, holding an orange-furred devil whose rumbling and saws gradually slow down to a stop.
Hirofumi sucks his tongue back into his mouth. “Hello,” he greets with an easy smile.
Alternatively: A peculiar friendship – and perhaps something deeper – blooms out of an unforeseen meeting.
