“I don't know.” Kyle shrugged as he looked over to see Cartman facing him, “Maybe you needed me and didn't know it or…”

Laura frowned, frozen on the stairs. “If that’s one of your gremlin friends, Tricia, I swear—”
“It’s not!” Tricia yelled from behind her bedroom door. “Unless Clyde learned how to teleport!”
Laura huffed, smoothing down her apron and stomping toward the front door, thunder growling outside like a warning. She opened it with one hand on her hip, fully prepared to send a neighborhood boy home crying.
But instead, she froze.
Two cops.
And a boy, shaking.

There are no good parents in South Park.Or that’s Kenny McCormick’s working theory, anyways. It’s not like he knows every kid in South Park. There are probably a few happy families in this town somewhere, but as far as he knows, it's not many. Enough to count on one hand. Honestly, he’s starting to think they’re a myth.
Everyone has shitty parents in South Park, (Except for maybe Tolkien, but this story isn’t about him), its just the way things are. He and his siblings just happened to get the shorter end of the stick, ended up with parents that were more outwardly horrible, who didn’t bother putting on fake smiles and happy masks. So, what do you do when you realize that you, and maybe two or three other kids all have the worst homelives in South Park?
