When James Potter inherits his father’s game reserve in South Africa and spends a few months there learning the ropes of the business, of course Sirius has to follow him. He owes it to him to support him while he navigates his grief and the overwhelming task of managing a game and nature reserve bigger than some small countries. But in Africa, Sirius finds more than just a way to give back to his best mate until they make their way back home to Britain. Instead, he finds Remus, a tall, tanned and grumpy ranger who's crispy exterior hides a heart of shy, mushy gold who might make him question where his home really is.

When Sirius accompanied his best friend to Frystmark for the annual council, he expected to be very bored and very cold while his royal friends did...whatever it was they did for their yearly meetings. That expectation was utterly destroyed within a few days of arriving, when three things occurred entirely out of his control:
1. He met Remus, the exceptional (and exceptionally freckled) prince of Frystmark
2. He learned to ice skate on a frozen lake
3. The city was attacked, sending him and his six new friends on a wild chase across the continent with assassins on their tail and a quest for a magic dagger dangling ahead, all because the terrible honor of killing an unkillable king fell into their laps. It's just saving the world, after all. No pressure.

They were fucked, Sirius knew it, he just didn’t want to admit it because it was his foolishness that got them here in the first place. Here, in the middle of nowhere with no phone signal, completely and utterly lost.
or; sirius and james get lost on a hiking trip and are rescued by remus lupin, a handsome young farmer from a nearby village. sirius and remus fall for each other hard. they both have problems, both are oblivious and both are hopeless but somehow they manage to make it work and as it turns out, they meet each other at just the right time. also, james is utterly ridiculous.

Sirius and James accidentally find themselves on a Yorkshire farm during lambing season. The farmer’s son thinks that’s a bit annoying, actually.
