Summary
Going back for her Eighth year, Hermione Granger was desperate for some peace and quiet. After the war, she struggled to find it, and hopes that returning to her favorite place, now rebuilt, can solve all of her problems. However, after realizing the consequences of ancient magic, Hermione's year takes a turn. After making a few new friends, taking an impromptu trip to Wales, talking to the giant squid, and handing out muggle points to pure bloods who change, she finds herself on yet another adventure within and outside of the castle’s walls. Only this time, she is accompanied by a rather fit looking ferret.
All Draco Malfoy wanted to do was redeem himself. After spending the summer rebuilding the school he had opened to destruction, he found himself returning to Hogwarts for his final year. Prepared for the hatred and vitriol he deserved, Draco planned to keep his head down and stick by his close friends. However, what Draco never accounted for was for a fiery witch to come into his life like a blinding star and brighten his never ending night.
