Summary
Walking toward the kitchen he's so overwhelmed by the pungent scent of alpha he nearly chokes. Most of it is Wooyoung of course, but Jongho's smell is more than a little apparent now too, Yeosang's heat hormones affecting each of them in turn like a biological ripple effect, everyone's pheromones amplified.
They're actually luckier than a lot of other groups because of how well they get along, how close they are in age to each other. As they presented they were naturally drawn toward one another, which means they miraculously haven't had to deal with a single one of them being unbonded during a heat or rut.
Except, despite all the benefits, being bonded does have a few downsides. For instance, if Seonghwa were unbonded, being in the presence of two alphas during a proxy heat would only be mildly frustrating. Instead he's fuming, because his body only wants the comforting scent of his alpha, an infuriating workaholic who's hardly ever home.

Yeosang goes into heat, triggering sympathetic reactions in the rest of the group. Seonghwa needs to call Hongjoong home, but when his festering resentment gets in the way he ends up suffering the consequences.

He allowed Seonghwa to take his hand and guide it downward, taking the hint once they were almost to their destination—while Seonghwa's hand dipped between his thighs from above, Hongjoong chose to come in and meet him from behind for his own comfort. His calloused fingers found the inside of Seonghwa's thigh, and then his lover's hand. As he was guided to his beloved's entrance and felt the obscene bulge of their child's head just behind the tight ring of muscle, his gaze never strayed from Seonghwa's face. His own eyes burned and tears threatened to spill over while he tried his hardest to keep himself composed; it was hard with the overwhelming amount of love he felt as his fingers automatically followed the vague teardrop shape of Seonghwa's rim and it hit him harder than ever that they would very soon have a little piece of both of them out in the world and wrapped protectively in their arms.
A physical representation of their love, even if they hadn't asked to be parents.

Hongjoong accidentally knocks up his mercreature lover and goes through all the five stages of grief while assisting in the birth of their child.

Seonghwa swallows as subtly as he can, holding his wine close to him. “Do you talk to many other vampires?”
“Are you jealous?” Hongjoong teases, pressing his claw in more.

Seonghwa is a vampire who had pretty much given up on the idea of friendship. Other vampires aren't good company and no one else lives long enough to stick around. And then Hongjoong, a scrappy werewolf with too much time on his hands and a desire to get under Seonghwa's skin, pushes his way into the vampire's routine.
Right as Seonghwa is getting comfortable, Hongjoong has the bright idea that Seonghwa should bite him and fuck up their entire dynamic. Lovely!
