We're just, uh, seeing what the hype is about, right?” He hopes Tamon doesn't hear how his voice falters, and by the way he's staring at him jaw agape he doesn't think he does.
“W— gh— What!?” Tamon makes a hurling motion, but seems go swallow it down.
“We don't have to.. It was just..” Kaoru has to set the manga down to wipe away the sweat that was gathering on his palms. “Yeah, nevermi—”
“Wait, no. You're right. This is.. exploration? No, not, wait, like, testing?”
