Summary
Well, let's start with the fact that I just love detective series and series about the FBI and stuff like that.
I watched and re-watched Criminal Minds, even though it was really hard for me at times.Then, probably about a year ago, I read AFTG aaaaaand “Hello, hyperfixation for the next couple of years! Please come in!” 🤗
So I thought, why not try to combine these two worlds and send the Foxes with all their traumas to work for the FBI? And I decided that I had no reason not to do this. I don't know where this will lead me yet, but I want to write a series of fanfiction, where each story will be like an episode of a series, gradually revealing all the characters.
And well, I took a little from other series, for example, the abilities of Neil from Hannibal, the humorous vibe from Castle and other little things.- Words:

Summary
Andrew Minyard, former storm chaser turned research meteorologist, treks to the middle of nowhere to meet up with his former work partner who he’s secretly had feelings for since they met. He’s there to sign a patent but can’t help getting caught up, literally, in his old work. Tornado chasing shenanigans ensue, feelings are had, and possibly a ridiculous confession happens in the pouring rain. There are cows.
Also known as the blatant Twister AU no one asked for or wanted.
Seriously, this follows the 1996 film really closely so if you wanted to watch it and haven't this fic is one big spoiler.
But also why haven't you watched it, it's amazing.

I first watched the movie Twister as a mere 5 year old child and was terrified of tornadoes. I had been in a bad tornado when I was 4 (it was the string of tornadoes in ‘99 in OK so it was terrifying lol).
But I grew to love the movie and it helped me not fear them quite as badly. Although they still can be terrifying as someone who grew up in tornado alley 🫡
This fic was very beautifully written and I loved reading it as I honestly had no idea what was going to happen as it’s been awhile since I last saw the film.

I’m not a sci-fi person. I think my only real sci-fi is Smallville lmao. I just don’t enjoy it much and some elements like time travel or multiple universes existing at once confuses the heck out of me.
BUT. This fic had me hooked. I enjoyed it so much and each chapter I honestly had no idea what to expect. I loved it so much and even though I got confused towards the end there, it was enjoyable and I loved the ending. 🥰

My favorite troupe (idk if it's a troupe, but I love reading about disabilities in literature or stories as someone who has disabilities themselves so it's always refreshing and wonderful to say the least) is disability rep and this fic has it all! I love it so much and the characters are perfect.
I love sassy Neil so much, and everything about it. I can't wait to see what the author does with this series and left loving each update.

SPOILERS 💗
I am a sucker for a good mystery type fic even though I hate mysteries 🫢
This had me hooked where I binge read the first 17 chapters in one night and sacrificed my sleep (who needs sleep when you have coffee and a planned 2 hour meeting the next day?) just to read it because I just wanted to see if I would like it based off of the first chapter and I did.
I don’t normally read fics from Aaron’s POV (because we are way too similar but also he’s too hetero for me most times to enjoy unless I read Kevaaron but I do enjoy our Kateaaron).
But this had so many twists and turns that it had me needing more hence why I couldn’t put the fic down after reading for 3 hours 🫡
I loved how Aaron and Andrew were written and then Neil as he is such a feral but sweet person that I can’t help but think he can do no wrong no matter the fic. This is getting pretty lengthy (I’m sorry I’m scared to do comments for fear of being perceived 😭) but oh goodness I do love this and have probably over analyzed the heck out of it. You did so well writing the characters and kudos with the plot as I had no idea what was coming next tbh.
I loved the ending so much and wasn’t sure if there was going to be a happy ending but there was and I couldn’t have been anymore than I am 🥹
