Except, instead of the mild relief of the limb returning to normal, the tingling stayed, buzzing brighter until she felt almost hot despite the snow that was beginning to sneak into the alley. For an instant she thought it must be how a flower must feel in bloom, spreading open and feeling the sun for the first time.
