Summary

Summary
_Two years after Guanyin Temple, some wounds still bleed while some debts may never be repaid._
Xu Qixin should be dead. Two weeks before the burning of Lotus Pier, Yu Ziyuan whipped her with Zidian, and the last Xu heir fell. The blood debt between the Xu and Jiang clans should have ended with her.

Summary
Wei Wuxian, grieving over Jiang Cheng's death, devises a brilliant plan to travel back in time, bringing along some of the people who are most important to him. However, he is unaware that by the time he retrieves Jiang Cheng, his brother has already been reincarnated in the modern world and is living a happy life that he doesn't want to leave behind.
Now, faced with the harsh reality of his past, Jiang Cheng has no choice but to relive his former life, albeit begrudgingly.
Fortunately, a benevolent deity takes pity on him and brings his beloved wife from the modern world into this one. The only problem is that she has fallen into the hands of the Wens during the war. Will Jiang Cheng ever discover that his wife is also here? Will he be able to save her while also protecting his family?
PS: This is extremely Jiang Cheng-friendly. There will be no bashing of any character. MXTX has complicated characters; not even her protagonists fall into the black-and-white pattern. So if you can't handle complex characters and grey morality, stay away.

“Don’t be a silly goose, A-Li,” said Yu Ziyuan, in the brisk matter-of-fact tone that she had perfected over years of supervising night hunts and hosting Discussion Conferences. She hoisted the squirming dragonet into her arms, and it – he – stopped growling, grinned happily (it was a very wide grin, now, revealing two rows of alarmingly sharp silver teeth) and reached for his Jiejie with all his little claws. “Nothing terrible happened to A-Cheng, he’s just transformed, see?”
Jiang Cheng, the first dragon to appear in Yunmeng for many generations, is sent to Cloud Recesses. He is raised by Lan Qiren, alongside Lan Xichen and Lan Wangji (who are also dragons).

The boy was alone. No one else was around despite it being the middle of the night. Just the boy who made a bee-line for Obi-Wan. He was way too young to be out at this time let alone out here all alone. It was the boy’s training armour that tipped Obi-wan off that this was more than just a lost child.
“I have a youngling in front of me. There is no one else around and I am pretty sure he’s Mandalorian.”
Quinlan paused, then asked, “...Come again?”
Obi-Wan peered down at the child tugging at his arm. “Aran, ner echoy'la.”
Kriff. “Correction, I have a Mandalorian boy in front of me telling me he’s lost.”

Marrying a leader instead of becoming one wasn't what Shen Jiu had worked so hard for, but if this was his last, best chance at securing a future for himself, he would damn well fight tooth and nail for it (and maybe, just maybe, his cultivation wouldn't be so broken at all by the standards of a realm where nobody ascended and immortality was the stuff of legends.)
