Summary
They had woken up nuzzled snuggly together, exchanging soft-spoken words that hummed comfortably in the quiet room. A few cars had passed from time to time, a couple of birds had sung cheerfully outside, filling in the little spaces between their hushed conversation (little bouts of silence that would engulf the lazy air of the early morning). When the Sun had begun shining a little brighter through their blinds and the want for food had become a more craved affair than a distant thought, they had stumbled out of there sheets, as gracefully as their waking bodies would allow them, and had headed to the kitchen.
That had been thirty minutes ago.
Now, Dick had his face shoved against the cold marble of the counter, his naked torso flush against the hard surface; his sweatpants were pulled down, along with his underwear, unceremoniously bunched around his trembling feet, tiptoeing uncomfortably to adjust his height to the workstation; and his hands fumbled uselessly to find a grip on the smooth expanse of the counter, his fingers curling and uncurling without rhythm as he fought to keep himself upright and steady.
Or; Dick gets railed in the kitchen by his sweet boyfriend, Wally.

But he’s not, like, obsessive about it. He still eats, and most of the time it’s perfectly fine. He’s lucky that Alfred already cooks for a vigilante diet, so most of his meals are lean and filled with protein anyway. He’s just…more careful about it.
No one lingers or comments on how little Dick eats. Anyone who looks at him can deduce that he’s an athlete. Health-conscious eating comes with the territory, and being an acrobat at that means everyone expects him to stay lithe.
Besides—he’s Robin, isn’t he? Might as well eat like one.

Dick carefully placed his hand atop Wally’s and trailed their fingers over the ink on his skin. He felt how Wally stopped breathing and was strangely grateful that he wasn’t the only one so affected.
“When did you get it?” Wally asked, voice soft like anything above a whisper would ruin everything.
Dick looked back up at him, met his questioning eyes. “’bout two years ago.” Wally’s face softened. Dick licked his lips. “Do you like it?”
“I really like it,” Wally murmured, the promise in his voice made Dick feel like he was falling.
“Good,” Dick whispered.

Summary
Someone pulls the blindfold off his eyes and Wally feels completely justified in grinning once he sees Dick, nothing but bright blue eyes and messy hair. “Hey,” he says, feeling giddy in a way he hadn't expected, but that might just be the whole ‘thought I'd never see my friends and family again’ thing.
Dick doesn't grin back and that's almost the weirdest thing that's happened to him today, considering the world had almost ended.
Then, Dick backs up and stands next to Wally West, so he was definitely wrong, because nothing can top this.

Dick scowls, caught out. “What does it matter?”
Jason pushes himself off of the wall and stretches with strategic lethargy. “Look, take it from a guy who came back from the dead too.” Dick flinches, but Jason barrels on. “The longer you keep him to yourself—away from everyone else—the longer it’ll take for him to process that life moved on without him.”
(Or: When Wally returns from the dead, their relationship is not as easy to navigate as Dick hoped it would be.)
