Summary
Life is not easy for Mike. He is gay and he struggles with that, because he thinks it is wrong. Even worse is, that he is in love with his best friend Will. Things get complicated after he ends his relationship with his girlfriend Eleven. Everything spirals out of control as Mike falls deeper and deeper into a pit of drugs and self-destruction. One by one Mike looses contact with all of his friends.
One thing leads to the next and Mike in his desperation to get drugs meets up with Troy Walsh. A Mistake, cause Troy is cruel and a Sadist.

If anything, Will was the heart. He holds The Party together.
Mike was just some gangly nerd.
Vecna’s gaze is unrelenting and it's like he can hear Mike’s negative, insecure thoughts, “You can help me make Hawkins better. You can make him love you back. You can have anything you want.” He says, his words convincing.
He wants to be useful for once.

A sofa appeared in front of them, with a rug before it and a small table with a light on. Will frowns and steps forward as Eleven does, looking around.
There was a boy lying on the ground, shivering. His black hair was concealing his face, but Will watched with horror. That was Mike. He looked sickly and pale, and he was shivering for no reason. “Mike..” Will whispers, wanting to reach out.
“He is not fine,” Eleven states, looking around at the couch and table for clues. “We need to find out where he is.”

“We will have to call everyone.”
“I know.”
“We will need to find Mike.”
He whips his head up at her from where he’s been examining his coffee, scowling.
“Will,” El sighs. “He is just as much a part of this as everyone else. He knew when he left that he would have to come back eventually.”
“Did he though?” Will snaps, “He left without telling anyone. Maybe he doesn’t want to come back.”

The day Mike Wheeler breaks is a Tuesday. He would say ordinary, but in the midst of an apocalypse, even Tuesdays refuse to be ordinary.
But that was three weeks ago. And Mike’s remained in a similar state. Waking only to eat and drink or use the bathroom. He hasn't stepped into a shower, uttered a single word, or engaged in any activity beyond fixating on his wall. Everyone has tried speaking to him, but no one has had any luck. Owens believes it's a response to trauma, Mike's mind constructing this protective barrier to shield him from the relentless horrors that envelop his world. Will isn't quite sure. All he knows is that he wants his best friend back. And that he should have fucking been there.

Shit. Mike thought before dashing toward Billy. Before he could even say anything, Billy grabbed him by his hair and rammed his face into the bar on the wall. He collapsed like Max did, completely unconscious.
Of course, since he was unconscious, he doesn’t see when Billy knocks Eleven out and drags her away. Since he was unconscious, he didn’t wake up when Max did, when she shook him by the shoulders shouting his name, all he did was murmur something unintelligible. Max shook with dread, eyes wide.
“Wait here,” She says before running off, leaving Mike alone on the cold floor.
That was the last time anyone saw Mike Wheeler.
