The flirtatious tone in his tenor voice startled Daichi as he lowered himself into his seat, something about the stranger’s tone coy while still self-assured. From beneath the fans of his thick, pewter lashes, honey warm eyes stared back at the dark-haired man, awaiting an answer. The fluorescent glow of the bar lights gave those caramel-coated irises a sort of metallic sheen; iridescent in a way, like a precious pearl plucked from an oyster. Mischief was housed beneath those layers - mischief, mirth, and maybe just a touch of trouble. Sometimes, with his difficult and demanding job, Daichi didn’t realize how easy it was for things to pass him by; for him to keep his eyes closed to the good things in the world while he was too damn preoccupied with keeping his nose against the grindstone.
Yes, this ashen-haired beauty looked like trouble, through and through. But right about now, Daichi was beginning to think just how much he could use a little trouble.
