Because Viktor needs to know. Because the words have been trying to burst from his throat since the minute they woke up. “I should’ve told you before we- I mean. I should’ve said. I didn’t want to die without you knowing. I don’t know why I didn’t. I love you. I’ve loved you.”

    Viktor lets out a choked gasp from where his head is buried in the crook between Jayce’s neck and shoulder. “What?”
