But behind the thin glass of the stained-glass window, the cold October wind whistled, bordering on the skin-pinching winter breath. The end of the month, almost the end of autumn. A vampire could afford to get out of his own curse shackles for a little longer than usual: he could walk the streets when there were still a lot of people. He could look at them, feel their beating hearts and the blood flowing smoothly through their veins. But there was no way he would ever mistake their blood for the one that now seemed to freeze under his fangs. This blood was thicker, sweeter and more appetizing than any other. The faith flowing in it, the submission and stubbornness flowing in it at the same time intoxicated better than any alcohol, and the smell of pale, but not so white skin was better than any fragrance.

“Tell you what,” Sukuna starts, hiding his amusement at the vein that pulses in Toji’s forehead. “Help me out with this set, and then I’ll move.”
Toji wholeheartedly thinks he might kill him on the spot.
At least this way, he can drop the bar on Sukuna’s head a little bit easier, gasp and clutch his pearls when the gym staff accuse him of violence towards another member and Yuki refuses to bail him out. ”Fine.”

Summary
Sukuna’s eyes flicker up to Toji’s, though he only notices this in his peripheral vision with how focused he is on Sukuna’s still-squirming flesh, the pouring of blood from the missing chunk of his arm onto his pristine white kimono. He doesn’t dare open his mouth and question why his presence has led to Sukuna pondering love – with the sight in front of him, he isn’t sure he wants to know.
“What does love mean to you, Toji?” He’ll never be used to the way Sukuna drawls his given name, coated in the syrupy tone he lends all his words, a remnant of his Heian-era speech. “To me… ah. I never courted anyone when I was alive previously. I never saw the need to. But as I spend my time thinking about it, I have determined that love is a variable, and whatever she was preaching about was not what I was seeking. For me… Well. I like food. I like to eat.”
Oh god, Toji swallows.

Let him sink back into the earth, Sukuna thinks to himself. Let him bloom with the spring flowers.

Summary
Chronologically arranged stories centered around the survivors of Hope's Peak Classes 77 and 78 taking place after the initial Tragedy and subsequent Neo World Program. All works are, with a couple of exceptions, written to act as standalone pieces so that the reader can easily pick and choose what piques their interest.
Branch 14 of Future Foundation has thrived under the leadership of Executive Director Makoto Naegi. He is followed directly by his right-hand man, Vice Director Byakuya Togami. Other notable staff members include Hajime Komaeda-Hinata (Chief Information Officer), Aoi Asahina (Chief Human Resources Officer), Yasuhiro Hagakure (Facilities Manager), Kyoko Kirigiri (Chief Investigative Liaison), and Shuichi Saihara (Intern - Investigations Department).
Outside of Future Foundation, the other killing game survivors have eked out a living as best as they are able to. Some have their own businesses, some scramble for a foothold of employment, and some live under the support of their loved ones.
Being a late twenties going on early thirties adult is terrifying enough on its own, let alone when you're shouldering unimaginable trauma coupled with a scarred up city just barely beginning to heal.

Summary
Hajime Hinata is a successful and accomplished monster hunter. The only issue is a strange bite on his left shoulder: an attack from a wolf that seemed just a bit too vicious to be normal. Aside from that, everything is going fine--until he gets sent out on a vampire hunt, where everything goes wrong all at once.
Now trapped together in an old castle, it seems Hajime and Komaeda have a lot to learn about what makes a monster and what being human really means.
