Summary
“Ilya, what are we gonna do?” Shane says.
Ilya finishes whatever he has been doing on his phone, and tosses it gently to the bed beside him. He crosses the room to Shane, stands in front of him, squeezes into his shoulders with his big hands, rubbing them like he means to warm them up.
“Looks like we will have a little vacation,” he says, with a big obnoxious grin.
Boston and Montreal are sent to Paris to play against each other in an exhibition series in January 2017. Ilya and Shane decide to stay in Paris for one more night. Just one more night, so they can talk. Maybe finally understand each other.
They aren't expecting a volcano to erupt in Iceland and close all the airspace in Europe, leaving them stranded there. Together.

Summary
Shane Hollander doesn't understand why everyone thinks he and Ilya Rozanov hate each other. He's pretty sure that in all the years they've been playing in the league together, they've never even talked before.
Well, he's kind of sure. He thinks he would remember. He would remember something about Rozanov, if it was really important.
Right?

Summary
“Trowa, I don’t know why, but I have a terrible feeling about tomorrow. And I’m just hoping I’m wrong about it.”
“What feeling?”
“I don’t know,” Quatre says softly. “I don’t always know why I feel these things. The reasons aren’t clear. It’s just… it’s just a feeling I have sometimes.”
Trowa has a completely irrational urge to reach for Quatre, put his hand on his knee or shoulder. Or face. Run a finger across his pale cheek. He can’t do that, of course. He doesn’t. He keeps his hands locked on the bedspread and watches Quatre collect himself.
“I really do need your help,” Quatre says. “I think, maybe, with you there, tomorrow… this feeling will go away. I’m really glad you came with me, tonight, Trowa. I feel a little better just having told you.”
Or: Trowa Barton once again crosses paths with Quatre Winner, and finds he can't stop himself from following him wherever he asks Trowa to go.

Summary
“Where are you going?”
“To the arena, Hollander. We are playing a game in three hours.”
“That’s tomorrow, Rozanov,” Hollander says, smirking like Ilya might be fucking with him and he wants to make sure he’s in on the joke. He looks behind and around him. “Um, can I come inside?”
“Hollander, we have game today. You were here yesterday.”
Hollander is striding toward his kitchen, looking over his shoulder at Ilya like he’s getting tired of the joke. “Very funny. I was in Montreal yesterday, Rozanov.”
“Hollander.” Ilya goes to stand in front of him. Hollander’s eyes flicker up and down his body the way that Ilya usually craves, but is rather unwelcome right now. “Today is Thursday. Game is today. Yesterday, you came to my house. We ate tuna melts, watched Buffalo game. Then, you left.”
“Rozanov, it’s Wednesday morning. And I’ve never been to your house before.”
“Hollander…”
“Look at your phone if you don’t believe me.”
Ilya snorts like a bull and pulls his phone out of his pocket, swipes down on the screen to look at the date.
Wednesday, November 9th.
Or: Ilya Rozanov in Groundhog Day!

Heero Yuy is a straight-laced college student. Duo Maxwell is a stoner and a slacker, and drives Heero crazy. Well... there is more than one way to drive someone crazy. Heero didn't expect college to be like this. And he didn't expect someone like Duo to be so... captivating.

Summary
It’s the most famous cold case in hockey history. Up-and-coming Russian phenom Ilya Rozanov mysteriously vanishes the summer before his rookie season. Despite extensive police work, no trace of the young superstar is ever found.
Shane Hollander remembers Ilya Rozanov. Better than most. And now, several years retired and with two highly successful hockey biographies under his belt, he’s taking a crack at the mystery that’s haunted his own career with strings of what-ifs and memories revisited so often they’ve softened like old cotton.
Perhaps now, with the long eye of perspective between him and those memories, he can unravel the short lifetime of the man poised to become his biggest rival and best kept secret. Travelling to Russia he searches for stories and the answers they hold.
If only this damn dog that’s apparently a local cryptid would stop raiding his trash cans.
It has wandered this place for years. It knows every stream, every hill, every tree. Every pale, flat face in the place of straight lines. It does not know this face. But it remembers dark eyes and star-dots across the cheeks.
It cannot remember its own name. But it remembers him.

Summary
Shane Hollander runs one of the most important restaurants in Montreal. Critics describe him as elegant, minimalist, and obsessed with perfection. His dishes are defined by precision and perfectly balanced flavors, not a single element out of place.
Ilya Rozanov, new in town, runs a restaurant that could not be more different: modern and unpredictable. He doesn’t follow recipes. He experiments with flavors and is not afraid of chaos.
Both are considered the brightest promises of Montreal’s culinary scene. And they share the same goal: to be the first chef in the city to receive a Michelin star before turning twenty-five.
Unfortunately for them, they can’t seem to stop showing up in each other’s kitchens.

Summary
Amundsen-Scott Station, Antarctica
—
In grad school the only flirting he had mastered was the strategic deployment of phrases like ‘oh, really?’ and ‘is that so?’ It was brought to his attention by one of his more regular hookups in the kitchen of his apartment while they were cooking dinner, and he had said whenever Shane wanted to fuck he started talking like a coastal elite college girl who’d never had to ask for it outright. Now, in this strange point of contact with Ilya where it was obvious something vaguely carnal had passed between them, he thought about emulating his particular brand of assured charm. Whatever ideas he’d concocted devolved rather quickly into his own unintentional directness, and he said, “Does it scare you?”“Does climatology scare you?” Ilya’s face was measured and calm, his foot still pressed against the curved joint above Shane’s heel.
“Yeah,” the word came out like a laugh, “it does, actually. A lot.”

Summary
Today is Tuesday, but it might as well be Wednesday or Thursday for all it matters. It’s a real Groundhog Day situation, Shane thinks, only Ilya isn’t aware and Shane doesn’t care about breaking the time loop, too content with their life to make any changes.
